Can I put your stories on my website?
Maybe. If you run a personal, non-pornographic fan site, and remember to credit me and place a link back to my author profile, you may archive my stories without waiting to receive my written permission. Please tell me in a review the stories you are interested in archiving; however, you needn't wait for my written response. I would appreciate it if you leave the fanfics you archive completely in tact. You may split them up into chapters if you wish. Some of the stories are very long and take a lot of load up time, but please do not change any spelling, grammar, and please leave in the bolds and italics. They are essential to showing how characters think and feel.
Due to the security scripts on Radical Dreamers website, you will have trouble saving the stories from there. Save them from fanfiction.net. Please upload all files to your own server. Do not directly link to them on my site or on Xing's site. It's rude and is grounds for revoking permission if I catch you doing it.
If your site contains over over 50% adult content, you must receive my written permission. If you are going to put my work on a mailing list, you must receive my written permission.
This permission does not give you the right to rewrite my stories or MST them. You may not rewrite my stories, use original characters, or write in fanfic verses I have created without my written permission. Please specify which characters or universes you are interested in using when asking permission to write within my fanfic verses. Requests to MST my fanfics or to write NC-17 hentai stories using my concepts and ideas will be denied.
Under no circumstances are my stories to appear on the sites of individuals associated with maintaining the Digiartists' Domain, the Snowfields of Night or the Daisukeken mailing list. Permission is also denied to these sites' affiliate and linked sites. My stories are not to appear on mailing lists or adult sites without prior consent.
If I find my stories in a place where I have specified they are not to appear, I will not hesitate to file a complaint with your ISP. If you claim my stories as your own or fail to properly credit me, the same thing will happen. Unlike other people, I do not believe in giving a 24-48 hour period of grace to take down infringed upon work. If I catch you stealing my work, documented evidence gets submitted straight to your ISP: no grace periods, no warnings.
Please respect my wishes regarding the content of this site. It is essential that you do.
Chain letters, spam, mailing lists...
Please do not add me to your personal mailing list and please do not forward me petitions or chain letters if you know my e-mail address. I know you mean well when you ask to forward along letters for missing children or to support a good cause, but seeing such letters in my inbox does nothing but annoy me. I do not like these letters being passed on to me and out of respect for my friends' feelings, I certainly wouldn't pass along chain letters, prayers or petitions to them. Just because I compliment you once on your stories or fan art, doesn't mean that we're automatically buddy buddy and you can add me to your mailing list of friends. If I see that an e-mail is addressed to more then one person, I will delete it immediately. If it is spam, I will forward it to your e-mail provider.
Do you do request fics?
Sorry, I just dabble in fandom for fun. :)
Flames...
Flames become mine to redistribute as I please. If you flame me, your flame will be passed on for other people to laugh at. Flaming me once or twice - okay. Flaming me anymore times then that becomes harassment and I will send in your peals of joy to Xing.
I have a personal question about your life...
Please do not ask personal questions. If I see a personal message in a review, I will delete it and block you. I consider "Are you gay?" "Where do you live?" "How old are you?" and "What do you look like?" to be personal questions.
How did you get so good?
I have a lot of love and dedication for characters and I've been practicinf for over 16 years.
How often will you update?
Erratically and I'm afraid much less then I used to. I study, freelance, hang out with my friends, corun a yaoi website with two very other talented and wonderful people, cosplay and write fanfics only when I have the time. I'm really trying to do more freelance these days then fanfics. I haven't abandoned fandom, I'm just less into it, because I have a novel and a short story collection I want to write. For my own protection, I cannot make my commercially available works available on this website.
What happened to your Yahoo group? How will I know when you have new stories out?
I deleted it. It was more trouble then it was worth and I got sick of forcing myself to write stories about couples I am no longer interested in, just to please a few individuals who wanted me to keep writing within formulas. It was a fun experience while it lasted, now I want to bridge out into other fandoms now that I am no longer constraining myself to a single fandom with its formulas. I'm sorry, you'll just have to keep checking my author profile page on fanfiction.net to see when new stories are out. Or you could always add me to Author Alert. ^___~
What is your AIM/ICQ number, etc.?
Please do not ask this either. Chatting with people online, unless I know them really well, makes me really uncomfortable.
Where can I find your NC-17 rated stories?
Due to fanfiction.net's ban on NC-17 rated fanfics, I have had to remove "Sanvoison" and "Winter of Our Discontent". You can find my NC-17 rated fanfics here on Paths of Desire (www.micjacann.com/PathsofDesire.html) or Smoochies MAX (www.smoochies.net).
Will you critique my stories?
I'm sorry, but I do not have time to give critiques, nor am I the best person to ask. I am horribly biased as an author. I tend to see the flaws before I see the good points in a story. I might review your stories on fanfiction.net, but I will not answer e-mails asking me to critique, beta, or correct stories. |
