Author has written 8 stories for Horror, Romance, Humor, General, Life, and Friendship. 28th June, 2007: Well, summer vacation
has arrived, everything I've learnt for the past two years in uni is
quickly flying out of my head (not such a bad thing I have to
say). I'm not quite sure if i'll be writing anything too soon -
my brain and mental capacities are in desperate need of a very long
vacation, but I shall be periodically reading a few things here and
there, getting back in touch with good ol' fictionpress. Soleil Antoinette 4th December, 2006: Ah, I think I have lost my loyal readers, nonetheless, I'm not updating anything at the moment. The past year and a half has been a rush of new experiences and situations, and it has definitely helped me to grow, although it was probably one of the most difficult times also. Right now my inspirational juices have ceased flowing for the moment, hense the lack of updates. Sometime at the end of January/early February '07 I'm going to be trying to send in some new stuff, and also right now I'm not too sure where i'm going with Hidden Danger as I have lost the trail a bit. Anyways, until next time. Take care everyone, and Merry Christmas and an absolutely wonderful new year. Cheers, Soleil Antoinette 7th October, 2005: Alrighty, so here I am sitting down for the first time in weeks with nothing of too much urgency to do, wondering how time flies and yet still I have this unrelenting urge to procrastinate. Unfortunately, that is exactly what I did with my work here on FictionPress, especially Hidden Danger. Let me elaborate: I had all this time over the summer vacation to continue writing, but instead I spent the time relaxing, doing little or no work what-so-ever whenever possible, and just enjoying my last free summer vacation before university. Now, of course as was predictable, I have very little time even to type this up and post it as university has begun in full swing. What will happen to my updates? Well, they will pretty much become non-existant for a while, at least until I get settled in and into a routine. After that, who knows? So just to inform all the readers out there - updates probably won't be for a few months. I sincerely apologize for the annoyance and inconvenience. I, too, hate it when an author begins a piece of work and discontinues it right in the middle, but unfortunately, at this present time it is unavoidable. When I do start updating, though, I promise to do it quickly and continuously, so as to get the story out and completed before any further delays come along. It is bothersome for me too to have an uncompleted piece of work in which I will not be able to update immediately - it's not something that I usually do! Again, I am really sorry, and I will try to update as soon as possible. Cheers. Yours truly, Soleil Antoinette Hey there, First of all, thanks for checking out my profile - don't worry, I won't bore you...too much :). My URL at fanfiction.net is: http://www.fanfiction.net/~soleilantoinette Let's see, a lil' bit about myself: I'm a 18-year-old (girl, of course:) that enjoys reading and writing. I absolutely love dogs, horses, and animals in general. I feel my life is a complicated, unfinished mess that brings satisfaction at the oddest times. I wish to keep myself anonymous on this website - for safety and privacy reasons as i'm sure you understand - so I just chose myself this pseudonym. Why did I pick Soleil Antoinette? I think just solely based on my own overeccentric ego (this is only place where I let it run free hehe). Some useless information about myself: Residing place: Somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere of things... Nationality: Mixed - too much different blood in me to count :) Education: Currently attending University Some really good books: -The Lord of the Rings ('The Return of the King' my favourite) by J.R.R. Tolkien Soleil Antoinette Some nifty quotes: 'Never give yourself a haircut after three alcoholic beverages of any kind. ' 'Experience is a wonderful thing. It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.' 'You need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40. If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.' And my very favourite: 'Ok,
here's the plan. In the dead of night, you and I grab some provisions,
hijack one of those, er, longboats, and then we row back to Spain like
there's no mañana!' | |||||||||
