I'm finding myself to be a lot like Sojiro. You know what it's like to hide pain behind a smile? I do it all the time. You find yourself just wanting some one to hug you; to ask what's wrong and really listen while you explain. You want to cry.
But you smile instead...
I find it kind of amusing that my e-mail involves Hell and my pen name means "Shadow of Heaven." Kind of oxymoronic, huh?
Maureen, the main character of "Shadow Diary" is a lot like I am. The way she looks, thinks and acts are all based on me. Douglas and Keith are based on my brothers. This, however, is a work of fiction, even though parts of her journal are really parts of the journal I keep.
