~*~ My Basic Writing Tips... ~*~

1.) If you want to write a story, write it for yourself and not for others.

2.) Don't butter up you're material to make it more appetizing. If you're even going to bother with a pen or a pad of paper, make sure you like what you see.

3.) If you feel that you're writing isn't detailed to you're liking, or doesn't emit the emotions you want it to inflict, try listening to music. Try all kinds of variety when you choose the tunes you want to listen to. They may cause you're emotions to differ and that can cause a great effect in you're writing.

4.) If you find that you often get a bad case of Writer's Block and you are a member of Fanfiction.net maybe you should try writing your stories in advance. Then you can update frequently, recheck you're stories for errors without worrying about getting you're next chapter posted right away, and keep you're reviewers satisfied. (I know, I know, I should practice what I preach, but I'm going to after my current stories are taken care of.)

5. Write fics on Harry Potter, and make sure you get you're facts straight! (It's hard to do, I know, but doing a little bit of homework will only improve you're stories and fics! In order to do you're homework, the Harry Potter books might come in handy!)

Fighting for Her, Facing the Dark: This story is a classic Draco / Ginny romance fic. Our two main characters come to a silent agreement 'stating' that they are going to be civil with each other. However, strange things start taking place and they start to have weird dreams about each other. After doing some research they come to the conclusion that someone wants to send them crazy, and then the story takes a wild turn and Pansy Parkinson puts her nose where it doesn't belong... into Ginny's business. Rated PG-13 for language and some romantic scenes...

Opposites Attract: This is an interesting fic including you're favorite pairing, Lily and James! Lily hides who she is by dying her hair and wearing contacts. It started when she was at home and became a routine. James, when one night is drunk with Lily, shares some of his childhood secrets and because Lily is wasted, she shares some of her own. Now they have to learn to trust each other, and with that come obligations, dramatic times, and lies. Rated PG-13 for language and some romantic scenes…

I Fell in Love with the Babysitter: Lily Evans needs a job to help pay her way through school and she gets one from Mrs. Potter: being the babysitter to James' four siblings that he finds incredibly annoying. The only problem is, James is a major nerd, the biggest geek in Hogwarts actually. Lily just happens to be a popularity princess. However, when a bit of a makeover occurs, will she fall for the facial? Rated PG-13 for language and romantic scenes.
