My Current Projects The White Lady - Okay, I have gotten back on track on this, after having watched the Return of the King and been inspired to go back to writing my epic fantasy type things. Anyway, I am completely rewriting it, and changing a lot of names (Lithilien has become Cysuron, and Alaron is now named Taliesin, and Naronim will probably have a name change also). I'm not going to put it up until I'm done with the rewrite though, so don't expect anything too soon. Eye of the Storm Books - Sorry about the lack of updates on this. I got sidetracked. Here's it's summary: Long ago, during the time of the Last War, the king of the South Kingdom disappeared without a trace. Now, thirty years later, most believe him dead. When a girl, daughter of a wealthy merchant, lover of simple things, goes in search of a book that will tell her how to cure her mother of an illness, she is ensnared in a task of finding the lost king. At the time, it seems fairly simple, if difficult. Find the king, get the book, cure her mother. But in truth it is a complicated mess of lies and politics, and everything else. This girl never thought herself a heroine, but everyone is given a chance to do what is right in their life. This is her chance, and her chance to become what she never wanted to be. The Mother Willow (previously The Thirteenth Golden Rose - Basically about a girl named Sidra, who gets sent to live at court during a war, then uncovers a myth no one ever thought was true, about a boy whose mother has been transformed into a willow tree. I don't know the exact plot yet, but I really like my ideas for this story. You see, these is basically the UK a long time ago, under a different name, where they all speak Latin. Quite an interesting idea, if I do say so myself. Largely borrowed from Greek and Roman myths (the part about the wolf man, and everything about the Mother Willow is all Greek myth). | |||||||||
