1/4/04 - Hrmmm...right. Well, it's certainly been a while. I've been concentrating on classes and my artwork, so my poor writing hasn't gotten enough attention. At any rate, I've revised the 'High Treason' chapter in Northbound Moon - it was going in the 'save the world' direction, and I REALLY didn't want to write another fantasy novel like that. I also added a new chapter in the middle entitled 'Anestan' to flesh out the political situation, and to make the time lapse between chapter 2 and 4 go a bit smoother.

2/27 - Phew! I've been on a writing spree lately. Writing in class, writing in between class, writing all the time! So I finished chapter 4 of Northbound Moon rather quickly. I've already started work on chapter 5. I think I'm having problems fitting all of the information I want to into my novel. I've never written a story with a good deal of political intrigue involved, and I almost feel like there's too much in this one! Everyone has secrets and unspoken motives. The political situation will definitely start to come more to light in the next chapter. I'm taking a quarter off from school in a month, so expect more writing then!

Hello all! I am a college student at UC Davis. Soul of the Sword is a story I wrote a few years ago. I'm considering finishing it, although it needs some heavy touch-up work, and I have another better novel in progress. Writing is third on my priorities list after school and art, so I don't find much time to work at it =( I have a love of all things fantastical, so most of my writing is set in the fantasy genre. My main goal is to one day write and illustrate my own books.
