“Harry I know I’m not your father but I know what he’d say right now if he saw you acting this way,” Remus snapped at Harry.

Harry jumped to his feet angrily, “If my father was here I wouldn’t be having this problem. If my father was here life would be better. If my father was here I’d have a life.”

“So stop playing what if! You’re father isn’t here and every person who loves you would give anything to bring your parents back for you. But we can’t and you have to deal with that. You have to make a life for yourself and I know that’s not what you want but that’s how it is Harry!” Remus himself winced at the tone of his voice, “Now go upstairs fix your hand and go straight to bed.”

Harry stepped a stair down taken aback by Remus’ words, “You aren’t the boss of me. You can’t tell me what to do.”
