Writing is more than just a talent or a skill, it is a passion you are born with, a fire that burns within you spurring you forward. It takes dedication, imagination, creativity, and the willingness to accept criticism and refine your words until the final outcome is the perfect piece of literature. It takes vision, and the ability to immerse yourself into the world you are creating.
It is you. It is part of what makes you, part of what creates you, and part of what moves you forward each day.
At least, that is what writing means to me.
Who am I? No-one of importance, elsewise my works would be published by a grande publication house rather than on a free website. But who I am as a person is what I am here to tell you. After all, sometimes it is intriguing to get to know the author behind the works.
I'm a recent college graduate and a journalist by trade. At the moment I work for two IT trdes magazines that deal specifically with the Canadian Channel/VAR market. I come from a very strong, faith-based Christian home, and believe strongly in Christianity myself. But, I am also quite open-minded and completely respect the beliefs of others. I believe that everyone should discover the truth for themselves; take in their own experiences, seek out their own answers, and decide what they believe from there.

Survival - Her assignment was simple take out the former President. But she wasn't the only one out to get him. The stakes are raised as Abigail discovers the same bounty on the head of the President, is also resting on her own. What will it take to survive?
Stage one of the novel is completed, but not posted. I originally wrote the story for NANOWRIMO (National Novel Writing in a Month challenge), and realized that while forcing out a story in such a short period left it with many flaws, holes and confusing incongruent ideas, that there actually is something there. I have posted the first chapter, but I will soon be posting a newer version, as I still think it needs more structure and more body.
The Thirteenth Dimension - It was supposed to be the greatest breakthrough in gaming history, but quickly became the biggest threat to face the world in decades. The only one's who know what the Thirteenth Dimension is are either in a coma or still missing.
This novel is taking a while to write due to time as well as plot intricacies. It's a science-fiction novel based off of a strange and yet intriguing nightmare I had last summer. Hopefully progress will pick up when I start having a bit more free time.
