I started writing when I was 14 and here it is 11 years later and I never miss a beat. I've been through a lot of ideas and a lot of stuff that I just ended up not liking. I find it intensely interesting to go through writings from the last 11 years and see the way I've grown as a writer in that time. I currently reside in Washington but the Bay Area, Ca will always be home. I miss it dearly and nothing here seems to compare. I hope to one day get published -if I can ever finish a book- and possibly illustrate one of my novels. I think it would be fun to see the characters come alive in such a way. I am currently in college working on my Computer Network Engineering degree, quite different from a writing career yes? I absolutely idolize Kim Harrison, but it was Christopher Pikes Last Vampire series that got me into writing so long ago.

Up in Flames came as an idea a year ago and part of the reason for it, is because I wanted to write about what a struggle it can be to go from believing you're straight to realizing that its just not the case anymore. This story is a tribute to the tribulations I went through once I discovered I was a lesbian, this story has gone through so many changes and ideas and I've finally now settled on a plot line and character development.
