I write. A lot. Most of it is crap. I tend to post it on the Internet anyways, for an ego boost. Sometimes, I write good things. I want to make them better. I am an Egyptian at heart (and often in action), though American by birth. I believe in karma, understanding and spontinaeity. I think that everyone is worth meeting. I can't stand shallow or close-minded people, but I'm polite to them. I graduated from Cairo American College, and now attend the University of Washington in good old Seattle. It's pretty awesome.

The Guardian Project
The Guardian Project:
"Guardian" is a concept TV series which was created by Carlin Salisbury. Her goal is to one day produce the series. If you have any interest on the project, subscribe to the blog (linked above) for updates on how the project is going. Keep in mind that the project is in it's infancy, and that the writer is not as skilled as she hopes to be, and there are still plenty of bugs to work out. Your feedback is very much appreciated, particularly specifics. Thank you.
"Work In Progress: A Play"
"Work In Progress" is a play I hope to produce at my college sometime soon. It's in its rough draft phase and can be seen below. Your help in revising it will be greatly appreciated. "Work In Progress" follows a day in the life of Jenna Crawley, a confused young girl who believes that she only exists as a character in a play. Her fiance tries to convince her it's all in her head while she begins to convince her therapist that maybe it isn't. Jenna's words are eerily prophetic, as she feels she is living the same day over and over again. The play centers
around her dilemma to figure out what her purpose is, and if she can
change the course of the story she as a character is a part of. While she seeks out something real, her friends seek out something tangible, which ranges from being as simple as cash and a trip to Jamaica to something as complex as an understanding lover and a passionate kiss. The five quirky characters explore what it means to exist (or not
exist) as well as what it is to fall in love (and to fall out of love),
and to trust ourselves (and also our friends). Seduction, arguments, philosophy and even a
punch in the face make up this little rough draft of joy. So go read it and help me out here.
