Author has written 1 story for Romance.

Hi :) My name is Kinga and I'm a Sophomore in the University of Silesia, Poland. I'm currently taking an undergraduate course in English and French (applied languages and translation, or so they call it :P). I'm also a teacher of English in a private language school in Katowice.

I've been daydreaming since I can remember - thinking up stories about princesses finding their true love in the midsts of every-day life. Everytime I played with anything resembling people (Barbie dolls, or even the plastic Lego figurines) I would create an elaborate history behind each character of the game and re-play the storyline inside of my head until I got bored and thought of something else.

Like most people, I'd wager, I think mostly in images, so when I decided to transfer some of my ideas onto paper, I found this task somewhat of an obstacle. This might be the reason why I have so many troubles finishing whatever I write. I first tried writing in Polish, of course, but I've always thought Polish to be an extremely dry language incapable of expressing most of the things I wanted to write about... And after I've gained enough fluency in English I experimented writing in that language by dabbling in fanfiction... It felt much more pleasant to write in English rather than Polish, but I still wrote all my original work in my native tongue, finishing only one of the countless ideas swirling inside my mind. It's only recently that I decided to risk it and start writing a novel in English :P

Babel is a compilation of several of my earlier works, but I think only my best friend will be able to notice which details came from which idea :P

Being Polish and without a beta (I think I'm actually too impatient for one, really xD) my stories might have some spelling and/or grammar mistakes, for which I am really sorry and would like you to point them out to me. I always proofread my work, but I'm only a person and I might still miss something.

Babel was everything. A school, a dorm, a company. But despite its countless advantages, for Magda it has always been a prison. She could learn every language in the world, but in the end it didn't really matter. She was never free. Even to love.
