Author has written 5 stories for War, and Sci-Fi.

AIM Screenname: ChinaManFTW

Hi! I'm a 20 year old college student currently attending Rutgers University. I'm set to graduate in the Spring '09 with a BA in Civil Engineering. Although the field in which I'm majoring in is a scientific one, I've always had the love to write and tell a good story.

When I first joined this site, sometime after the Fanfiction and Fictionpress breakup, I went under the penname Shipposan, but I have evolved a lot since then both as a writer and a person, and although I take pride in my previous works, I have long removed them from here. However, the piece titled Crimson Chronicles is my original 3065 AD story revamped and rewritten.

I present to you, the works of MiroFTW.

My writing is greatly inspired from the works of Hideo Kojima, Shinichiro Watanabe, George Lucas, Joss Whedon and Yoshiyuki Tomino. Exposure to their storytelling masterpieces has greatly influenced the products of work seen before you. My favorite author is Michael Crichton, though I usually enjoy reading any kind of thriller novel.

I'm also an annual Nanowrimo participant. For those of you who don't know, check out www.nanowrimo.org. I've been doing it since 2003 and been a winner every year since with the exception of last year when midterms attacked me to no end during that time period. However, I intend to keep at it 2008 so I look forward to another crazy month of November.

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR BETA-READERS! For those who are interested, please let me know and we can talk via AIM or e-mail.

A special thanks to several FP authors.

If you ever want to find something else to read besides mine, I highly recommend their works.

For any reviewers: I appreciate the time you take into reading my story. Any kind of feedback is especially welcome, though the only thing I do ask is that if you review, please note at least one thing I can improve on because it lets me know what I can do to make my writing better. Oh, and I usually reward any constructive criticism with a review of my own. :D

Updates

(7-14-07): So I'm going to stick with the schedule of posting chapters every four days. With 32 now punched out, there's roughly 12 left to go, which means I should have everything edited and uploaded in roughly two more months! Just a few things to mention:

1) Like I said before, I've finished the initial draft of Crimson Chronicles, so now I'm just going to post chapters after I finish editing them. All in all, there's going to be 44 chapters. Updates will now be frequent (every four days or so).

2) I'm always looking for a good book to read. Currently working on Lee Child's Nothing to Lose. If you have any good recommendations, please be sure to drop it in a review, shoot me am email at miro69@gmail.com or notify me on AIM.

Works in Progress

Crimson Chronicles, Book 1 (Title still yet to be determined) - My love, my dream and my story that I have worked on for oh-so-long now. After a couple of redrafts, I have finally come up with one that I am happy to post and share. I would recommend you to read this more so than anything else I've written. Everything is on hiatus until I finish editing this story.
