Oceanvale: (Drama, PG-13. Setting: Oceanvale Island, California.) Awit Panata, a newly graduated valedictorianprodigy from high school,has just moved from the Philippines into the sleepy and friendly island city of Oceanvale in hopes to study in the small college there and live among wherehis American relatives are staying. Taking up medicine as a college major and hoping to work as a Filipino overseas worker, Awit quickly adapts into the American life, though it took awhile for the culture clash to settle down. Although he has his sights set on becoming an ordinary, every dayphysician, he finds himself in situations ranging from small-time crimes, viral outbreaks, and to destructive scandals, making the once seemingly peaceful Oceanvale a haven for trouble. 18 years old, no longer under the care of his mother, and ready to live the life of an adult in a foreign country, Awit will have to struggle a bit before he finally gets his life on track.
