I am a seventeen year old girl from the northeastern USA. I write both Fantasy and Science Fiction, but I'm better at Fantasy.

I have several pets of various species, most notably my cat Kitty (my repeat readers might like to know that yes, she was part of Baleroth's inspiration) and my Siamese Fighting Fish (who, through my own sheer weirdness, somehow wound up being part of the inspiration for Yashur).

Some of my favorite fictionpress.net authors are Limyaael (their Orlathian Trilogy is a must-read) and Diviner. I'm sure I've forgotten a few, I'll add them soon.

I'm currently working on several different stories:

THE GRAND DRAGON CHRONICLES (working title)
Book One: Guardian of the Zerandoan
Named without a thought, and summarized when I didn't actually know what it would be about. The first version of this story is finished. In other words, it's done, go read it :). It's actually pretty good, despite the fact that I wasn't seriously expecting to finish it when I started. Sometimes humorous, sometimes dark, it features a fluid and often dramatic style. The lead character, Baleroth, was hired to guard a magic sword until the day when it would be needed to defend the kingdom. She sleeps alone in her cave as the centuries pass her by, waking only to drive off intruders. However, all is not as it seems, and the sword itself is awakening...

Book Two: Flameblade Soul
The sequel to Guardian of the Zerandoan. I only finished the first draft recently, so I'm still not certain how the plot will go, but I am pretty sure. Baleroth the Ex-Guardian awakes again, but can't find any reason for it. Then, a few days later, she hears a disturbingly Xerakath-esque voice calling her from across the mountains. Fearing that the Dragoness has been reborn, she sets off to search for the summoner. But what she finds isn't what she expected.

Book Three: Wings of the Storm (working title)
The third, and possibly last, story in the Grand Dragon Chronicles. I have only the vaguest idea of what will happen in it, and what I do know will probably change because of happenings in the second story. Still, I have some ideas, and I think I probably will get around to writing it. At the moment, it could be summarized as: Someone with limitless power and a very old grudge goes looking for Baleroth.
