It's so nice of you to drop by! If you're curious to know a little bit about me, I'm a writer, musician, and all around artist, in general--I write songs, poems, and stories ranging from short to novel, play guitar and sing, draw, paint, and I've even done the occasional tattoo design (my own, mostly). I'm 24, am currently a payroll analyst, and have no idea where my life is going, or what I really want to do. Mostly writing is my great escape, and I enjoy the chance to come here to such a nice network of artists all working to help each other out--it's one of the nicest places on the internet I've ever found and I'm glad to be a part of it.
I admit that I don't have a history of being the most responsible reviewer and member of the Fiction Press community, but this time around I am making much more of an effort. I solemnly do swear that I will respond to all reviews left for me, and will make the effort the return reviews.
ReGeneration is the only story that I am currently updating. All other unfinished works will probably stay that way for a while. I'm enjoyoing ReGeneration very much and even though it is slow going and the story I've been receiving the fewest reviews for, it's my personal favorite, and in my opinion (which of course is not tainted the slightest with bias), my best work.
NOTE 7/4/08: I am currently reorganizing ReGeneration in order to split it up into a trilogy instead of one gigantic book (this was a suggestion given to me by my buddy NRGburst from FanFiction). I assure you the story hasn't changed, but chapters are being moved around and I've created "new stories" for Parts II & III. Just a heads up for anyone looking for chapter 37, which you will not find! (This is now chapter 5 under Book 3). Does that make any sense?
ReGeneration is a fairytale from the end of the world. In ancient history, a Great Death swept the land, decimating the once thriving civilization of the Old Gen; since then, destruction and chaos have reigned over all who have survived. This is the story of a new lost generation living in this bleak, post-apacolyptic world, ruled by a madman whose only claim to power is his strange genetic mutation that gives him the illusion of immortality. Very dark, very angsty. Good fun for the whole family. Anyway, it wouldn't kill you to step inside and spare a few minutes of your time--you can always bail if you hate it.
