Author has written 13 stories for General, Fantasy, General, Life, Religion, and Biography. Hi. I am a 27 year old woman and I have been writing since I was very young. I have had a number of poems published and I also published a couple of pieces on Fanfic.net under the penname Maria Alvarez some time ago. I love writing and reading. My favourite authors include Robert Goddard, Wilkie Collins, Robin Cook, Daphne du Maurier, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Connelly, Franz Kafka and Isbelle Allende. I began to write The Enemy Within because I wondered how life as we knew it would be affected in the aftermath of a present day war with Iraq and I also wanted to try and explore how different generations would deal with it. I do not yet know how long this story will be because much of it is still in my head.
