Author has written 1 story for Young Adult.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Mahanaim can not speak french despite early success in mandatory school French classes. However, he likes the idea of being known as a French filmmaker, so he will most likely return to his birth land where pretentious filmmakers are accepted with open arms.

Currently Haasim lives in Brampton, just outside of Toronto, Ontario. His interests include film, writing, drama, music, science-fiction, technology and cycling.

In a perfect world he would live in a cabin in the middle of a forest, away from society and the modern world. But sure to remember his beloved † Apple Powerbook™, iPod™ and digital camera; with hopes of pursuing his life long dream of being a reclusive nature photographer.

He would befriend a grizzly bear and personify him through a series of children’s books that detail his fantastical adventures in the forest. He would then return to society when he would be ready to make these stories into a movie series meant to rival J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter. I anticipate Will Smith will ultimately express an interest playing the role of David (me) in this unwritten, untitled project.

† I do not actually own a Powerbook, iPod or digital camera, but I have created composite pictures of myself using those toys to facilitate my fantasy of this ideal life in which I often wear ensembles from the GAP while driving a blue Volkswagen Beetle.

Rebecca Romin-Stamos makes an appearance while John is working on the revived ABC dramedy Thieves, (which shouldn’t have never been cancelled in the first place)

‡Yes, it’s a little weird to refer to myself in the third person after establishing that I am the sole employee of Moonrocket. No I am not crazy. Yes, I do amuse myself sometimes. I even started to smirk to myself while writing this in a classroom. Several people glanced at me with a weird look, but I wasn’t sure if it was the usual weird look or in response to my quiet smirking.

And no I am not crazy.

1. The Saddest Little Girl With Freckles reviews
I once saw a geeky looking, freckled face girl while sitting on a bus. I wondered what it might be like to be her and then I wrote a story about it.
