Anyhow, you don't have to take my words as the absolute truth. Everything I write in my essay are only my opinions and personal preferences; I'm not infallible.
Often the examples will be used from my own writings, although not from here.If you want to read my recent stories (that are much better compared to the old stories here), The Spectres of Amatsu and Footfalls Over Sand are my current Ragnarok Online fanfictions and are written so they are still somewhat understandable to those who don't know the fandom. Knowledge gathered from my English Literature class (as well as my other school subjects) has been re-applied in these two stories. All my stories are experimental, trying out the things I learn from my Lit class, so still have many flaws.
Unfortunately, I am a bit of a hermit, since I hardly review. I have many things to juggle, including exams, writing, art, gaming and gifts for others, which leaves very little time for reviewing D: But since you're here, I recommend you read this livejournal, as it's an indispensable writing resource. You can tell where I've gotten inspiration from. Also, if you're intending to write a fight scene or a full scale battle, this lj is full of useful information.
