I have just started a roleplaying game/joined writing effort at http://groups.msn.com/Sunwalker . It's dark fantasy, heavily influenced by Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman and the World of Darkness, and I find it utterly gorgeous. I'm in need of dedicated, creative players/writers, so if you're up to something new and different, come and take a look. Honestly, I rarely get so excited over something of my own making ;).

http://www.scottmccloud.com/comics/zot/ is an on-line issue of a comic book series, which I consider the finest work of literary art ever given life upon this humble planet. To say it has changed me would not be saying enough.
I encourage you to try and read it. Who knows what you may find?

*Filk - Heather Alexander, Leslie Fish, Michael Longcor and Tom Smith specifically.
*Scott McCloud's work.
*Alternate worlds, primarily Tolkien's Legendarium.
*Short science fiction stories, Greg Egan's most of all, though Asimov's as well.
*Dark fantasy fiction, mostly Clive Barker's late Eighties work.
*Objectivism.
*Writing for comics and television. I've some ideas in development at the moment.
