To anyone who's waiting for an update to The Council, I'll tell you now. Don't expect one. At least, not for a while. I know I'm not a popular author, and I don't really write good, enjoyable pieces. I don't have much reason to push to keep going with the story when I'm really busy. Which seems like all the time, this year. I'm sorry if I'm dissappointing you, but there's only so much a person can do. I've also outgrown the story, in many ways. I think, before I go back to school, I'm going to overhaul what is on this, and maybe post some fiction that I've finished. Or that I want to finish. Maybe your reviews will keep me writing. It seems like something needs to.
To everyone, thanks for reading. I'm sorry if I disappoint any of you. But life can be like that, sometimes. I hope to write more in the New Year. A resolution for tonight, perhaps?
About Me
Hey all, I’m Kirika Moonshadow! Big surprise, huh? I live in Canada,
in a house, not an igloo! ^-^ I’m seventeen years old, and I’m rather
messed up. I adore Japan, and anime rocks! I’m kinda crazy, but to be a
writer, isn’t that mandatory? Writing is one of my numerous passions,
along with reading, playing flute, music in general, anime/manga/Japan,
and DDR(sometimes).
As for my physical description, I’m 5’5”, slim, pale, hazel eyes, short
chestnut hair, glasses. I’d love to be an
elf or half-elf, and if I could I’d be a mage. I believe that magic
exists, but we haven't figured out how to use it. If it didn't, how
could we all feel the spell woven by stars, moonlight, and someone we
care about? Yeah, I'm rather romantic, but only with myself and my
boyfriend.
My inspiration generally comes from my other hobbies (Warhammer, Legend of the Five Rings), the
music I listen to, my life in general, or whatever else happens to prod
my muse. She lives in my head and refuses to work most of the time, but
sometimes she actually finishes something before going on. If you read
something and it never updates, I’m sorry. Most of my writing happens
during the summer, and I actually do intend to pick up “The Council”
again. I know it’s been over a year, but I still want to finish it, I
just haven’t had time. I’m hoping that it’ll happen...eventually?
This
year in school I'm in Grade 12, and it's even worse than last year, if that's possible. My best
friend who encouraged me to do a lot of the writing I did in 03/04 has
moved away, so I don't feel the same push. My muse is lonely I think.
*shrugs* Hopefully I'll get around to continuing my various stories,
and posting them here. Wish me luck!
