Author has written 26 stories for Young Adult, Life, and Love. I'm Laura. I'm 22. I'm Canadian. I write because I have no idea what else to do with all my bottled up emotions. I don't have alot of close friends, as I tend to isolate myself from others. I'd rather be alone with a book or a notebook and pen, than with alot of people. Basically, I'm an outsider. I have alot of tattoos and about 20 piercings. So yeah. That's me. I love Nirvana, Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, The Shins, Jack Johnson, Something Corporate and lots more. I'm mostly into indie rock, emo and some punk music, but I'm often found listening to lots of other kinds of music. Music and writing are two things that come naturally to me; the only two things I truly love in this world. Thanks for checking my stuff out, please review when you read them. It would be greatly appreciated. = ) ~ Okay, so I haven't been on here for a very long time. I feel really bad for abandoning my stories. But I made a huge change in my life, moved to a new city, alone, and have been working my ass off just to eat and pay my rent. Things are slowing down a bit now, and I'm going to try to be on here alot more often and update maybe about once a week. ~ UPDATED OCTOBER 12/ 08 - Story Progress Completed Stories Refuge in the Stars -- If you decide to read anything of mine, read this story. It's the one I'm most proud of. Never Again -- This is a one-chapter story, based on the song by Nickelback. My Addiction -- This is a short story, based on real-life experiences. More Than Anything -- I'm pretty sure that this story is completed. I MAY write a sequel in the future, or continue on and write more chapters for this story, but I'm not sure.
