Author has written 30 stories for Love, Life, Humor, School, General, Haiku, Friendship, General, War, Fantasy, and Nature. I am a 21 year old college student who likes to write stories and poems. I have always liked to write and I want to share my writings with other people. I even remember the first story that I wrote in first grade, which actually got me into a little bit of trouble. Of course at a young age, I didn't realize that my story would embarrass my parents. I had written a story about how my cat jumped onto the table while no one was in the room and ate a piece of ham. My dad had decided that the cat needed punishment, so he taped a piece of ham to the cat's neck so it would have to smell the meat for a while, but could not eat it. I wrote a story about this for school and my parents were embarrassed because my dad had done it without really thinking and they didn't think that everyone at my school needed to know about it. That didn't stop me from writing, though, I am still at it to this day. I have a little bit of a better grasp on what I should and shouldn't write about now though.
I love ice hockey, the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL in particular. My favorite players are John-Michael Liles, Joe Sakic, Peter Budaj, Paul Stastny, Wojtek Wolski, Ian Laperriere (www.itsallaboutlappy.com) and Andrew Brunette. Recently, I have applied my love of writing to hockey and have started writing about hockey.
