Author has written 14 stories for Fantasy, Historical, General, Love, Life, General, and Politics. I hate this thing sometimes. I just typed up a wonderful blurb about how I also write fanfiction on Fanfiction.Net, and it was a B-E-A-utiful blurb indeed, but then I went to change my email and my sign-name without saving it and the dumbass computer goes and loses the whole thing, even when I hit the Back button... I'm really sorry, I don't mean to shout obscenities (those are flying around my head in plenty right now) I'm just a wee bit pissed off. Now you have a bad impression of me and all I did was be forgetful. As always. Dear me. So although I've never really done this before, I'll actually make this about me and not some really random thing that has very little to do with the kind of person I am but instead convinces my wonderful readers that I'm barking mad. You probably think that already. So. About me. Shpadana is: Independent Practical A hardass when she wants to be stubborn (excuse the language - sometimes you just have to use it. It adds character.) Fond of using the phrase "It adds/builds character" both in her writing and in real life. Also fond of speaking or writing in third person, like now. Secretly a sucker for romance and knights-in-shining-armor. Not-so-secretly a sucker for chocolate, hot baths, not-virgin pina coladas. Wonderingwhat a not-virgin pina colada is called... i.e.A whore pina colada? A bumbling redneck from the green mountainsof Vermont, in the rural rurals of America's greatest state. An Independent, although with Democratic sympathies. Very fond of saying "There are monkeys in the White House" or better yet, "C'e' scimmie nella Casa Bianca" which means roughly the same thing, butin Italian. Currently in the land where the Romans did it... thatso didn't come out the way she wanted it to. But you get the gist of it. She hopes. Sincerely wondering if anyone is actually going to read this or if it's just a waste of time... A fan of Vermont Voltage Soccer Team, New England Revolution, Boston Red Sox (although she honestly doesn't follow baseball, she just doesn't like New York or the Yankees, and damn if she's gonna cheer for anyone but the finally victorious underdog) A die-hard supporter of the underdog, for that matter Incredibly bored. Wishing someone would say "Has anyone ever told you that you're perfect and you're wonderful and you brighten every day of my life?" because she heard it once and it's just not fair that she can't have someone like that. Preferably a someone of the male variety. Strongly preferable. Up to#131 on her List of Quotes (From Real Life and Elsewhere, Including Some Pulled RightOut of Her Butt). Figuring you probably didn't need that last reference. A fan of King Arthur, the Harry Potter books, not the movies, Pirates of the Caribbean, Casanova (the movie, 2005), 10 Things I HateAbout You,Tre Metri Sopra Il Cielo (aka 3MSC), La Notte Prima Degli Esami,Little Women, Troy, Master and Commander, Lord of the Rings (to some extent), the Jacky Faber Books by L.A. Meyer, everything ever written by Tamora Pierce, Ann Rinaldi, Celia Rees, and a host of other people and things you probably wouldn't recognize. Incredibly, deliriously happy when she can actually speak English and be understood, these days. Friends with people from four different countries (America, Italy, Nigeria and Morocco, as of today). Also a fan of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, anything from Ambrosia in Williston, VT, Kraft Mac+Cheese (Thick and Creamy or The Cheesiest - there are two boxes sitting on my bookshelf from the last care package just waiting to be made), mascarpone con biscotti(heaven incarnate), Scotchies (like chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies, but with butterscotch chips instead), among other things. Not particularly fond of her sister's computer (currently hers) at the moment. And Quite confident that it is heresy of the worst kind to so much as contemplate a world without Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, so if one ofher friends/family would send some, they'll have to pryher off with a crowbarand/or land her with a restraining order whenshe gets home. That's a good thing, mind you. Andshe's very sorry ifshe strangles you inher absolute happiness. It's a pity, but it happens. Casualty of PBC's. Going to cut and run now, because you have to sell your soul to get Internet access in Italy - it doesn't exactly come cheap. She'll put up the Shpadana Is Not's some other time. Thanks for listening to my rambles. I have to say, I got a little irritated with the third person stuff after awhile. I'm certain you did. Oy vey. Sticks and stones. There are no roses without thorns. Hmm... make that 132 quotes. Best wishes and happy reading, (At least I remembered that much from my original, impressively worded profile. Frick. Ack, well.)
