Name: Sarah Age: 21 Sex: Female My poems and stories aren't the greatest, I usually don't like messing with metaphors and what not. I just put it how it is. I've never been very good with "Rules of Art". I just need to get my thoughts written out as soon as possible, lest my head explode. I once suffered from unrequited love, aka the best fuel for angsty love poems. I believe that I am over it now, and have moved on to other things. While many of the love poems are about a specific person, not all of them are. I believe that love cannot be divided, but only multiplied. I love freely and find beauty in everyone, but the only time I tell about it is in my poetry. I feel that I came off as selfish or self-absorbed in my poetry. I do not deny it, because they are reflections into myself. I've never felt comfortable opening up to any person close to me, so this is my outlet. My life post-highschool has been a tower of cups. I start building it up, only to have it knocked down, so I start again. Slowly, very slowly, I am getting a solid foundation. I have been cutting out the toxic things in life, and getting over some pretty big hills. I come out stronger and more confident in each moment, and I hope it starts to come out in my writing. | |||||||||
