Don't you dare make fun of me about it. *glares daggers and bares teeth* Other Stuff: I suppose I get my writing skills from my mother. I play piano (ninth grade...mwahahahahaha...I beat all of my other piano playing friends at piano except for a few) and flute (only just begun). I hope to learn the violin next, partly because I like violin music, and only partly so I can torture my sisters with some good screeching when they annoy me, although I'll probably get a year's worth of punishment... TYPES OF POETRY: Tanka: Like a haiku, again, instead of 5-7-5, it's 5-7-5-7-7. Thanks for the definition, Songbreeze Swifteye!!0.~ Cut: Introduced by Princess Mulan, known as Queen of the Haiku. It's like a haiku, but instead of 5-7-5, it's 7-5-3-1. That's for those of you who don't know. Couplets(just one): A rhyming couplet/couplet is made up of only two lines that rhyme. Sounds really cute when you're done, try it sometime!! Haikus(got a lot up now...): I think we all know what a haiku is. Normal Rhyming Ones(pretty much a lot): I think we all know that. Non-Rhyming(coupla those...): Poems that don't rhyme, if you can't figure that out. [Just joking!! ^^] **more shall be added as I explore different types of poetry I'm not exactly the spunky type. I'll be hyper, but that's about it. I'm sort of a tomboy...you know, one that likes the wicked fighting scenes in movies, hates skirts(*gasp* OMG!!! *scream* IT'S A SKIRT!!!), hates lipstick and makeup, likes to wear pants or jeans, etc. But not totally. If I were a tomboy, would I be a part of the fictionpress.net family of writers? Review mine, I'll review yours. I rarely say ANYTHING like: 'Oh God. Your story/poem totally sucked.' Actually, I NEVER say anything like that, because I review others like I'd want them to review mine. I'll give 'Constructive Criticism', if you'd like to put it that way~you know, suggest. And before you use anything of mine, remember to ask me first. After all, it's COPYRIGHTED to me. (That's one thing I like about fictionpress.net. Another thing I like about it is that writers can be so friendly. Not ALL of them, though.) Hmm...now that I think of it, I don't think ALL my poems are that good. Sometimes I'll say that it's not good, but review anyway, so I can improve. Why do you publish them anyway?, you ask. To see if people will like them the way they are. And please try to review as much as possible~I don't get that many reviews, unlike some authors. I'd very much appreciate it if you don't flame, but rather give 'Constructive Criticism' as mentioned before. And if you do choose to flame, then that's a piece of my sanity you're taking away. Well, that's all I have to say. I think you guys should read my poem 'Dream Forever'. I worked rather hard on it, and the idea just struck me pretty suddenly. Review, and please do not flame.
