I'm known as Aren21 on gaiaonline.com and myanimelist.com. I am going to school to be an accountant, I'm still debating on whether to become a CPA or not. While accounting will be my major and job in life, I still love the idea of being a librarian and hope to make that dream come true someday, whether it be in my retirement as a part time job or just by volunteering. In fact, until two years ago I was thinking of becoming a librarian, but chose accounting for my love of numbers and having more of a proluctivity towards accounting compared to my writing. I also intend to keep on writing as a hobby. While i may take hiatus' when it comes to my writing, I still love the art of writing and hearing others thoughts. I've always been interested in writing and books since I was a little child. Two of the first books I remember was Corduroy and Lauren's Secret Ring and how I couldn't get enough of reading them. Slowly I branched out to reading other books.

My favorite genre has been and always will be fantasy. There are so many places and wonders that one can explore when writing or reading a fantasy novel, as well as having many ingredients. Other genre's I absolutely love to read are sci-fi, mystery, history, mythology, romance, and learning. I also like to read mangas on occasion, with the same genre's mentioned earlier as well as slice-of-life and mecha. While fantasy will always be my favorite genre, the Victorian era probably produced a lot of favorite books of mine, such as the Jane Austen novels and Sherlock Holmes. I am a big sucker for classic books like the afore mentioned and others, but I also like many of the modern books, such as anything authored by David B. Coe, the Harry Potter series, and many others. My favorite authors are: David B. Coe, Jane Austen, Agatha Cristie, Conan Doyle, J.K. Rowling, Lawrence Watt-Evans, Mary Shelly, and Edward Stratemeyer. My favorite books of all time are: the Lon-Tobyn Chronicles, Harry Potter series, Pride and Prejudice, Sherlock Holmes, Twilight series (minus Breaking Dawn), The Joy Luck Club, and many others.

The original fiction that I have up is just a rough draft of what is, I hope, to be better than before. I'm in the process of editing it, and in fact have the first two chapters done on The Trials of Tyben. While I will have a new name, different character names, and different land names, the main story and plot will be the same, but hopefully more coherant and better. Especially when it comes to the plot.

I will probably write a lot of fantasy, as you have noticed with three of my stories so far, but I may write in other genre's as well. So far my mind isn't brewing any storms that will lead me onto a different path, but don't be surprised if you see me in mystery or other genres.

These ARE original works that I have been writing for many years now and I'm always improving.

STORIES:

THE TRIALS OF TYBEN: FINISHED. (I'm revising it as we speak and should be up by the end of the year if not a few of the chapters will be up.)

TYBEN'S DEFENDERS: Hiatus. Will be started once it's prequel is done.

TWO OF A FEATHER SHALL FIGHT TOGETHER: Hiatus. In need of serius reworking but I don't know when I'll come to this with my other two stories.

Although these stories are up, they are ROUGH DRAFTS, I am reworking on all of these in order to make them better, more coherent, and tying up loose ends.
