December 23rd 2005... Yes I've finally updated.....
Sitting around during winter break... So it's time for a bit of a profile revamp....I am 18 and in my first year at UBC in Vancouver. I did however grow up in San Francisco, California (best city in the world). I love writing, and have been at it since I was about six years old and used to write most of my letters backwards (I'm left handed so it felt natural). I'm also a science geek, a singer, a graphic designer, and a makeup artist.
I have a somewhat unhealthy obsession(s) with broadway musicals, Idina Menzel, Eden Espinosa, Taye Diggs, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Marin Mazzie (yeah I love Ragtime), Harry Potter, LOTR, Queer as Folk (I own every episode on DVD and am waiting impatiently for the fifth season to appear on DVD as well), and gay men in general (Anyone seen Brokeback Mountain, it was amazing eh?).
I'm also a hardcore snowboarder and I love my Burton Feel Good until it's broken and half and in pieces. If my house were burning down I'd grab my computer, snowboard, and snowboard boots, and my makeup collection... I know it's only supposed to be three things but shhh (this is of course assuming that my brother, parents, and cat got out ok).
I've been posting on fp for what? Three, four years now, although this account is considerably newer than that, and I have yet to stop. I do complete my stories, even if I sometimes don't update for a bit. My life can go from calm to insanely hectic, and my inspiration can go from bursting to nonexistant.
Thank you for all your absolutely fantastic reviews.
Completed:
Chasing Rainbows: A short story I wrote for my English class, about what love can do to people, and what it means to be selfless, and selfish.
And I Can't Cry: Short story about when my ex and I broke up...
A Kiss That Plainly Said: this seems to be my most popular piece, about two one night stand kings, who met each other and discovered that maybe they were worth more than one night. Completed 8-12-04
WIP:
Kiss Me Proper: The sequel to "A Kiss that Plainly Said," I wasn't ready to say goodbye to the characters yet, so I'm writing a sequel, it's about Kayla and Brian's son. Yes, I did write a gasp coming of age story. Very out of character for me, I know. But it's different, after all, he's got Blaiz and Dustin as uncles. chapter 17 04-17-05
Live is the Same as Love Except the O is an I: Removed
Flying Above Sky: Removed
Why I Hate Tenors: About a young tenor who's on the rise, and his encounters in love, as he tries not to fall in love Updated, chapter 5.
Portrait of an Artist:If you don't have a model off of which to learn, how can you know? Twomen shake the foundations ofthe world they have always known. Posted chapter 9 12-23-05
Step Into the Unexpected: The story that ended my writers block (finally), an all boys school, new hot siblings, a playboy who likes a new fuck every week, and a shy artist who wants to fall in love, and a family falling apart. It's a lot of cliches mixed together in an attempt to come up with something somewhat original.
Disclaimer: I've found that my main characters tend to be assholes, and often times, sluts. This is because I find them more fun to write about. I love the sweet stories of two boys falling in love, the coming out stories, if you check my favorites list, you'll see that its riddled with those (by the way, do check my favorites list, because I have good stories on there), but, that being said. I don't like writing those stories. I much prefer to write about an asshole who's confident in his sexuality, and unconfident in emotion. I just find it to be more fun. So if you're looking for a cute boy meets boy, boy falls in love with boy story, check out my favorites, if you're looking for assholes, who have lots of sex, are generally arogant bastards, and have moments in which they can be sweet, then I invite you to read on.
PS. I do write slash, almost exclusivly. After about a year of only writing slash, I find I can't write good het. So if you're a close minded ass, then you can feel free to hit that handy dandy back button on your browser.
PPS. Read and review and you'll be my favorite person ever.(Mind you I have several favorite people, but you'll be on the list... lol.)
