Author has written 13 stories for Play, Family, General, Young Adult, Love, General, Fantasy, and Manga. I'm a 20-year-old guy studying physics at Rutgers. I'm an amateur writer and avid reader, fond of fantasy, sci-fi and shounen-ai (m/m romance). I mostly only review things I like, and then I try to make the review as long and constructive as possible. Though I'll appreciate any review except a flame, I prefer getting reviews like the ones I write (long and constructive.) A quick little blurb that just says the story's great doesn't improve my writing, only my ego, and I already have plenty of ego. From my favorites list, I would most recommend "Sincerely, Yours Truly," "Contact," "Percolating Pete's," "Experiment 9," and (especially) anything written by Caspian. Of my own stuff, "To Bury a Poet," "Nobody There," and "The Stars Have Passed Us By" are probably my favorites.. I never finish anything. If it's not a one-shot, it probably won't get an ending. Due to strong pressure, and it being relatively easy to write, "What To Do If I Ever Have Magic Powers" might be continued, but don't hold your breath.
I took down "Back Porch Club," and replaced it with "The Young Deer," a better version of the same idea. It's still nothing spectacular, I just felt the need to get my symbolism on. The deer are real; I happened across them on campus a few weeks ago. The humans are more or less fictional. |
