Jacob is a somewhat condescending young man who lives in northern Illinois. His writing is few and far in between not because he doesn't write, but because it takes him a long time to write any one thing. He is studying to be a professional pilot because flying for a living will support him so that he can write as a passion but writing for a living probably would not support his flying as a passion. He doesn't care about getting money for what he writes but he loves to have other people read his work and give him their thoughts. He hates writing about himself in the third person.
