Author has written 1 story for Romance.

Hello!

Lately I have settled into worrying more with beta-reading for others. I really love editing things, and I find it as much fun as writing, if not more fun at times since it's a lot less frustrating. With that said, I have been focusing more on beta-reading and this has taken my time away from writing. As such, you can expect it'll be a while before I post anything new. However, if you want a beta, I'm probably up for it!

On to specifics about the stories I have written:

You Can't Forget the Past is the first story that I ever completed. I recently re-read it, and it was so unrealistic and horrible that I took it down. That and the revised version I had come up with got lost when my hard drive crashed, and that crushed my spirit to rewrite it.

Japan Changed This Man: ON HIATUS, PROBABLY INDEFINITELY. Well, I feel terrible about leaving the reviewers hanging. I still get reviews today, long since I stopped posting chapters. As I have said before, my co-author (Ian's voice) got tired of the story (I knew she would). I honestly don't think it'll ever get finished because there is no way I could write Ian without her. And I don't think it'd be worth it without him. Maybe some day we'll have a reunion and magically finish the story, but I doubt it.

OTHER WORKS:

At the moment, I have no other works so you think I'm just crazy. I have 5 halfway written stories. I refuse to post them until I have completed them though ( look at JCTM if you don't understand why). I hate to disappoint you only male/male fic readers though because three of the fics are male/female (these are the ones that I'm more likely to complete at this time). I am attempting to move away from slash (but I do love it so) and on to things I feel I can write better. A few of the ideas are listed below in order of likeliness to be completed. I've included something like a summary for each of them (they're all rather crappy summaries).

Teaching Tenacity: Teacher/Student story. Hopefully it's not too cliche, but I've not found a good one in years, maybe I'm just not looking in the right places. Anyway, Nicole and Brandon have a rocky road to a real relationship and an even rockier road to staying together. The question is, will they be able to hide their relationship from his colleagues, her friends, and the Dean? And if that's even possible, where will this relationship go once she's graduated and getting a job?

Stripped: Tentative Title. A piece about a girl who works as a stripper in her spare time, while going to college. She's maintaining a scholarship, and trying to maintain a normal life. And things are going well until she meets Dan. When he finds out about her nighttime activities he threatens to turn her in, which would ruin all that she'd worked for. Will she be able to come to an arrangement with him or will she be unwilling to give in to his blackmail?

Untitled: Set in a weird time period that I've not figured out yet (thus the reason it's never been completed, though everything else is pretty much done). Scarlett is married off to a much older man, Julius Smith, whom she hardly knows and definitely doesn't care for thanks to an arranged marriage set up by her parents. She's madly in love with her best friend, Nicolas, who is in a similar situation to herself, forcing him to marry Brooke. Many infidelities ensue, and they all hope not to be caught, but what happens when the maid finds out? And Scarlett thinks her baby may not be her husband's after all. But this is a time when infidelities of that nature could ruin a person. Is she brave enough to admit it or will she suffer in silence, married to a man she doesn't love?

Untitled: M/M. Jordan's family kicked him out when he told them he was gay, but now they want to reconcile. He finds out his sister got married when they weren't speaking, but otherwise things seem normal. Jordan makes a big drunken mistake that could easily get him "kicked out" of the family again, and so he makes a life change that includes getting a new job. While on the job, he runs into a fiery red head, Brock. And that's all I've got for now without telling you the whole story.

Updates:

11 - 9 - 09: I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this year, and I hope that will help me actually complete an idea. I've pretty much already got the 50K word goal reached, but the story is probably only 2/3rds written. But as I said, hopefully that'll get me to finish it. And I hope it's not too crappy, though at the moment I think it is. Either way, I intend on completing, editing, and posting it. I also have to figure out how it's going to break down into chapters because I've just been writing. And while there are a few breaks that would be great for chapters... I may be cutting lots of things up into pieces trying to figure it out.
