Author has written 19 stories for Romance, General, Love, Supernatural, General, and Humor. A note to ALL plagiarist: What the hell is wrong with you? Are you that starved for attention that you have to steal someone else's work and claim it as your own? Are you truly so pathetic that you can't write your own damn stories? Are you truly stupid enough to think that changing character names and titles makes the story yours?! Newsflash: it doesn't. This is a WARNING to anyone who is even thinking about plagiarizing my stories: All of my stuff is copyrighted to ME. Just because there is no copyright symbol at the bottom of each of my chapters doesn't mean that it isn't and that you can take it and claim it as your own. I don't need any sign that says it is MY work since the minute it is posted online, it is copyrighted to ME. My stories are my babies and if someone is ever stupid enough to steal them... well, you know what mama bears do when you get between them and their cubs? Well, that's how I am with my stories. It will NOT end well for you if you copy my work and I find out (and believe me, I will). You have been warned. October 16, 2012: As of October 14th 2012, I have become the nth person on Fictionpress to be plagiarized. I was informed by a reader of "Play Ball" over on Wattpad that someone had copied my story word for word and had posted it on the site starting back in July with the most recent update being on October 13th. Obviously, I was beyond furious when I found this out. I know I take the risk of it when I post my stuff online, but it is still beyond infuriating to actually have it happen. I work my ASS off on my work and to see someone else claiming it as their own makes me seriously want to hit something. Especially after I warned people not to take my work... apparently, some people just can't read. I have dealt with the girl accordingly. I basically sicced all 800 of my Wattpad fans on her and the plagiarized book (and the other two she stole) and her profile were removed within twenty four hours of my initial finding of them. Even with the plagiarized copy down I am still angry and I'm pretty sure that the girl who copied it on there is a fan of me on here, so if you are on here and of you're reading this, I have a message for you... DON'T YOU EVER PLAGIARIZE MY STUFF AGAIN. WRITE YOUR OWN DAMN STUFF. NEXT TIME I CATCH YOU (OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER) TAKING MY STUFF AND TRYING TO PASS IT OFF AS YOUR OWN WORK, I WILL SIC MY FICTIONPRESS, BOOKSIE AND WORTHYOFPUBLISHING FANS ON YOU ALONG WITH THE 800 WATTPAD FANS THAT GOT YOU THIS TIME. AND, I CAN ASSURE YOU... IT WILL NOT END WELL FOR YOU. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED (AGAIN). AND THIS TIME YOU BETTER LISTEN!! UPDATE: Yes, I have deleted "Love at Lanston", "Two Worlds Become One" and "Love of a Vampire", sorry to everyone who liked those stories and wanted to see them finished. But, those were written back when I was in high school and they are nothing but crap in my eyes. My writing has improved so much since then that I don't think it's fair to you guys to let you read poorly written stuff since you guys deserve to read the best that I can give you and nothing less for being so awesome and such dedicated readers/reviewers over the years! However, that doesn't mean that I'm abandoning them... I will, when I get the chance, be rewriting them and reposting them... I have no idea when that will be since I have a lot of stories up right now that I want to finish, but I will try my hardest to get at least one of them up soon! But, don't be surprised if that doesn't happen for a year or two. Name: Sarah Favorite Authors: Meg Cabot, Suzanne Collins, Sue Grafton, J.K. Rowling, Rachel Caine, Martha Grimes, L.J. Smith, Laurell K. Hamilton, Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, Larissa Ione, J.R. Ward, Lara Adrian, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kerrelyn Sparks, Gena Showalter, Jeaniene Frost, Harlan Coben, Alexandra Ivy, Amanda Ashley, Charlaine Harris, Karen Marie Moning, and Lynn Viehl Favorite Genres: Romance (mostly supernatural in nature), Sci-fi/Fantasy (mostly vampire related material), Young Adult (occasionally) and Mystery Favorite Quotes: "Love isn't about finding the perfect person...it's about seeing an imperfect person... perfectly."- Anonymous "Real girls aren't perfect and perfect girls aren't real."- Unknown (I found this on an icon and I liked it because it's so true) The following quotes (plus many more) in the form of icons, can all be found here. "Twilight makes me weep for the future of literature." "Twilight made me cry because I could feel a part of my brain dying" "My boyfriend is better than both Edward Cullen and Jacob Black" "JK Rowling proved that some young adult novels can be over five hundred pages. Stephenie Meyer proved that some shouldn't be." "Cold, dead and sparkly? In what way is that hot?" Likes: writing and reading (duh!), Titanic (ship not the movie), vampire romances, Harry Potter, history, Lost, So You Think You Can Dance, etc. Dislikes: rude and obnoxious people, cliched high school romances, cliched and purple prosed filled novels (ex: Twilight) and oh, people who accuse others of doing something without the full story and/or without listening to the the other person in the first place, people who claim any of my vampire stories are copying Twilight without bothering to read said story or stories. etc. TO ELLA: I don't know if you will read this, but since you reviewed one of my poems and not one of my stories and you left no email address (how cowardly of you) then this was the only way I could think of to respond to your little comment. But, let me get this straight... I have a right to my opinion, but I'm not allowed to express it since you don't agree with it? Wow, that makes a lot of sense. You, my dear, are a hypocrite. I don't constantly say I hate it on here, I only mention it once in my dislikes and I have a few quotes from avatars that I found were pretty funny. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's not like I'm insulting you for liking the book. Yea, I hate it. But, I don't go around starting fights with the fans (like so many of the fans seem to like to do with the haters). And, you think Stephenie Meyer is a good writer, I happen to disagree. I think she has some good ideas, but she just doesn't execute them very well. Her writing is full of amateurish mistakes that I would not expect a woman with a degree in ENGLISH to make. There are many grammatical, spelling and sentence structure mistakes as well that could have easily been caught, had Meyer read through what she had written or her editor had actually done their job. I could really go on with more reasons as to why I hate the book and Meyer's writing. And, I attempted to read The Host, really I did... but I just couldn't stomach it at all. Also, there is a line in there that goes something like this: “This body did not belong to me or to Melanie, but to Jared”... No... just NO. I'm not that big of a feminist, but that line alone really pissed me off. It's completely disgusting and so anti-feminist. I mean women are not objects for men to claim as "theirs". Sorry, but I'm not going to change my profile information, because, honestly, it's the internet, I can say what I want. It's not like I'm insulting you. Or hurting you in anyway. You're just mad because I don't like a book series that you do. Please go read some real vampire literature and stop getting all pissy just because I dared to insult your "precious" book series. By the way, next time it might be to your advantage to send me a PM, email me (my email is located on my profile) or at least leave an email address so that I can answer you personally and not announce my response to the world on my profile. Thanks! If it isn't already obvious... no, I do not like Twilight and yes, I have read the book. I have many reasons as to why I don't like it and to be honest, I don't really care if you happen to like it. As long as you are not a psychotic fangirl who thinks Edward/Jacob is real and is going to come for you some day or if you can respect the fact that I don't like the series (this means that you don't call me names for not liking it) then I think we would get along really well. I have many friends who love the series and we still get along well because they're not psycho about it and they respect the fact that I don't like the series at all. Please don't waste your time PMing me or leaving a rude review about how much you hate me or how stupid you think I am, because... to be honest... I DON'T CARE and all I will do is laugh at your pathetic attempts at insulting me. Please, people... go read some real literature and stop accusing everyone who writes about vampires as copying Stephenie Meyer... she did not invent vampires (or vampire romances), they have been around for years (Dracula, anyone?) and they will continue to be around long after the Twilight obsession finally dies down. I swear, if I get one more PM about how I am copying Twilight with my vampire stories, I'm seriously going to hit something or someone! Well, like I said up there , my name is Sarah and I'm 23 years old. I have been a member of fictionpress since 2003. I joined back when I was about 15, but I started writing when I was about 13. My first ever story was a Harry Potter fanfiction that I thought was SO awesome when I first wrote it, but looking back now it was really nothing but pure crap with my main character being such an obvious self insert Mary Sue it's not even funny. And... no, it will never see the light of day, so don't even ask to see it! I don't think anyone would want to see it anyway... it might make your eyes bleed... yes, it's that bad. I have always wanted to be a writer, but after a semester spent student teaching, I've realized that I really like teaching. Don't get me wrong, I still love to write and I will continue to do so, but I no longer have the goal to be published. I actually got my Bachelor's in History back in May 2010... with intentions to teach high school history, but then I got put into a sixth grade social studies classroom for student teaching and realized how much I loved those children. So, that is my new goal... to get out of school and teach sixth grade social studies. I am currently finishing up my last semester in graduate school; I will graduate in about two weeks with my MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching) degree. I am hoping to have a job lined up for next school year within the next couple of months! I don't really know what else to say here... I'm a pretty average girl with an overactive imagination with a pretty big obsession with vampires (but that is fading now... thanks to Twilight, now every vampire story that comes out is compared to and/or accused of copying that poor excuse for a novel, so they're getting kind of boring and annoying now). I am a hopeless romantic at heart and love a nice sappy cliche as much as the next girl... which is why all my stories are romances. I'm a bit obsessed. I'm a pretty random person... I laugh at most things and find the stupidest and most random things hilarious while others just stare at me and wonder what the hell I'm on. I have to say, though, that only my friends know the true me, I come off as quiet at first... but I'm really not, once I open up to you. Sure, I'm not the loudest or the most obnoxious person you'll ever meet, but I'm also not the quiet bookworm type that sits in the back of the class and doesn't say a word to anyone either. I'm a mix between the two really. My story ideas come from my brain most of the time; lately though, they've been based loosely on the very odd dreams I've been having. My poems, on the other hand, come from my heart. My characters aren't really based on anyone... though, my main female characters all have one or two of my characteristics (ex: Elizabeth is stubborn like me, Casey is quiet like I am around people I don't know, Victoria shares my idea that girls can do pretty much anything a guy can do (within reason of course), etc). Like I said up there in my dislikes, I hate people who accuse me of copying Twilight without bothering to read the story they are claiming is a copy of Twilight. Please people, if you're going to accuse me of copying Twilight with any of my vampires stories... at least have the respect to READ THE DAMN STORY before you make such an outlandish claim. Seriously, if you don't read it, I will not take your opinion seriously. Please read and review my stuff! I love getting new reviewers/readers (makes me feel special :)) So, at least take a look, it couldn't hurt, could it? And if you are a dedicated reader and/or reviewer, thanks! Your support makes me write more and more... okay, not really, but it makes me write faster knowing that people will actually be reading what I worked so hard on...(makes me get off my lazy ass). I would say that the more reviews I get the faster I'll update, but that is such a lie, so I won't.
