Subject: Looking Over the Past

Recent note: I'm still inactive. After all, it's been almost a year since I was here last. I just haven't had anything I wanted to share with whoever might stumble across my works, so I haven't been here. I have begun rereading things I wrote in the past, however, and I do still want to rewrite Insanity is Only Opinion. It's really different from most of my older works, and I think it's something that I could get into writing even now that I've changed my typical topics and characters. I also took down Cadan's Loss, mostly because I don't think I need to leave it up. I think I can rewrite it into a better, stand alone sort of thing if I so choose to have that posted, so it's back in my folder with my other 90+ projects. I'll leave the other ones, at least for now, though.

I'm still not certain if I'll ever post that project that keeps sucking up my attention and creativity, even though it's now approaching its end, but that's for several reasons that just boil down to I can't comfortably spread that sort of thing to the masses. If I ever do, though, I swear I won't even begin to post it until I've completed it. I hate leaving a project unfinished, and I know that if it's any good, the reader doesn't want to wait for the writer to write some more. I do have a short story I wrote that I might put up, but I want to edit it before I do. I don't have any idea when I wrote it, but I do think if I rewrite it, it can at least serve as a sample of my writing style as of now.

These really help me write and motivate me. Not only that, but many of them give me very valuable feedback that I can use not only for that particular story, but for my other works as well. I am also reviewing those who review anything I've written if they have anything posted, though it sometimes takes me a little while since I'm not much of a reader anymore.
