Author has written 40 stories for Horror, Nature, Life, Love, War, Fantasy, General, General, Essay, Historical, and Romance. Greetings! I'm Jackaroe, or, if familiarity would comfort you, I'm Elaine. I'm just your average eighteen year old college student aspiring to be a writer. None of my work is worthy of being published, so I self-publish my pitiful pieces here on FictionPress for your reading pleasure. Let's see, I'm fascinated by the Napoleonic Era and the Age of Sail. Most of my stories will focus on either two, or both. I write the occasional poem now and then and I've touched on fantasy, but I seem to do better with period dramas/romance/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. I understand that some of my history may be off in my stories, so please excuse the errors. I write my stories as I go (with a vague outline in my head), and so I also do my research along the way. Anywho, my main focus at the moment is The Merchant's Daughter. Updates are slow, but hopefully I'll get better (and less confusing for that matter).
