A/N: 4th Aug 07 - I do realize I haven't updated any of my stories for a really long time, but I'm going to have to say that they're put temporarily on hold because of university work and church events that I'm helping to plan. I'm hoping that once holidays come about I'll have more time to write and commit to my stories, and you may expect to see a chapter out randomly now and again even though I've said that they're on hold for now. It isn't as if Mischa Rivera is ugly. Nor is she bitchy. So why is it that her sisters (twins) are always the ones people wait on hand to foot? She doesn't care. Much. She's used to it, and frankly, she likes not being the center of attention. Unfortunately, like it or not, when she's sent to her sister's boarding school, Castle Hill, where they(the sisters) rule like Queens because everyone adores them, she gets exactly what she DOESN'T want. How? It probably has something to do with Jaden Moreau, Castle Hill's reigning King and overall golden boy(being good-looking and REALLY rich has helped him there, not that our JD wants it to be like that) who's always rebuffed the advances of the twins', declaring her to be one of his best friends. Plus you have Scoz, Jaden's longtime childhood friend and Castle Hill's Mysterious Loner, who's fallen in love with her. There you have it. What's next? Romance! Drama! Lots of mad conversation! and humor! Insert Aleynnah and Nikki Worchester, and more complications along the way, and you get...eeeeeep! Cat fights? Midnight sneak-outs? Hot makeout sessions (that's FOR SURE!)!!

Ashlie leaves her broken home and drunken mother and heads for the big city, New York, to hunt down her dead father's parents and her long-time-not-seen elder brother. Happy reunions over, she takes on part time work and classes. Then a model scout spots her and offers her a job as a model, which suits her fine since she's freakishly tall for a girl. Her first shoot with golden god Damian Marsh makes her an overnight star, known only as Winter.
Hot. Arrogant. Dangerous. Delicious. A Loner. A Charmer. Those are just some of the things people call Kier Covington of December's Winter. He's the IT boy of TOSH, whimsically-named fashion brainchild of Kyle and Leyt, also part of December's Winter.

A/N: 29/11/07 An apology for my readers. I'm putting FPTP on hold. I re-read the story and realized that while I've stayed on track with the gist of the plot, I've also strayed from what I had in mind in the first place. I wrote this during a time when I was busy and stressed and so it kept me happy because it put smiles on my face when I read it over, but now that I'm on holidays, it just doesn't meet my satisfaction. I'm going to be doing an edit and rewrite of this story, but I'll be starting a new project first (and hopefully complete it according to plan) before I look back on this one, to give myself a breather and time off from this story. There's too much of WinterKierWinterKier running through my mind at this moment for my liking. I was thinking, how do I get it back on track? It would be weird if i start tweaking things from where I stopped, so I'm gonna change stuff in chapters i've already posted. I'm sorry if this A/N disappoints you. Thanks so much for the continuous support and encouragement, especially for those who've been reading since Castle Hill, my first ever completed story.
Where Love and Madness Come Together
First we have the crazy family. The one where mom's single because dad passed away some years ago, leaving her to bring up their eight kids on her own, in sequence, Jeremy, Logan, Courtney and Lisa, Brody, Ryan, Jessica and Sasha. What happens next is that some years later, mom starts dating again and finally, gets engaged to Alex Whitton, who's only one of the Hollywood legends. All eight kids are fine with this arrangement because on meeting Alex and his son Ezra, they decide they like them better than fine because Alex is just great for mom and they get along with Ezra like a house on fire. It's about time mom looked after her own happiness after spending years with them until they got old enough to take care of themselves. Then they move into the Whitton home, and that's where Night comes into the picture.
Who is Night? Ezra's childhood best friend, and present best friend still. Night has a "run-in" with Courtney and things just go "downhill" from there, at least from Courtney's point of view. The others just find their antics incredibly amusing.
The paparazzi come into the picture. So do celebrities, not just nice ones, but those of the jealous kind too. Things start happening, and it's only a matter of time when things start getting out of hand, whether they like it or not. At times like these, they start searching for things to hold them secure in their ways, to stop from changing to fit the mold of fame. For each of them, what they're searching for is different. Friends? Family? Love? Work? Fun? Read and see.
