Author has written 8 stories for Manga, Young Adult, School, Life, Love, and Nature.
Just your average writer here on fictionpress.com. I’ve been very passionate about writing since a very young age, and have to say that’s it’s probably my greatest talent. ^_^ So, take a look at some of my stories and poems I have posted here. . . hopefully you’ll find something you’ll like. And don’t forget to leave feedback - I love my reviews just as much as the next person!

Birthday: February 20, fourteen years prior

Passions: Obviously writing, anime, surfing the web, drawing, reading, shopping, RPGs. . .

Dislikes: Rap, drugs, ignorant people, foppery, oral speaking, mall prices, immorality, injustice, excessive swearing, yaoi, hentai, prejudiced people, bad grammar, un-cleanliness. . . I’m not such a stick in the mud, really!

Likes: Dogs, Irish cream coffee, rainbows, rainy days, sarcasm, good conversations with your friends, IM conversations, talking to tape recorders, tea, fast food joints, the Eighties, keeping a journal, angst, being able to confide in someone, making graphics. . .

Self-Analysis: I’m commonly thought of by some considerate people at my school as ‘one of those smart chicks’. I’m quiet, reserved, and down to earth around other people, but I can be known to have ditzy tendencies. Around my friends I can get loud and giggly and be persuaded to do things I normally wouldn’t on my own. I’m shy in the respect that I dislike to get up in front of people, and like to perceive myself as an open-minded person. I try hard to keep morals when all around me are losing them, and am a bit (maybe that’s an understatement!) of a perfectionist. ^_^0 I guess you could say my personality’s hard to duplicate. . .

Favorite Anime: Inuyasha, Slayers, Gravitation, Tokyo Mew Mew, anything CLAMP. . .

Favorite Authors: Julian F. Thompson, Alice Sebold, Rebecca Wells, L. M. Montgomery, Garth Nix, J. K. Rowling, Dyan Sheldon, Francesca Lia Block, Robert Fulghum, Dean Koontz

Music Preferences: Anything 80s, older Billboard hits, Matchbox20, Alanis Morisette, The Eagles

Contact Info: My Yahoo handles are the_newly_winged_faerie, cooking_spray, and magicalsporkgirlcs_chan, and I can also be found on AOL as sporkqueen17. Please feel free to drop me a line anytime, for any reason. My mailbox is usually full of nothing but LiveJournal comments, so you’ll probably get a prompt response. ^_^ In addition, I can also be found on DeviantArt as AngelOntheWall and Fanfiction.net as Cooking Spray.

Enough self advertising. . .

Stories:

Perfect Squares- My most recent story, with big plans for the future. I think it’s my favorite so far out of all of the non-fiction I have written. Based partly on my own life, it relates the drama of the spastic Lydia as she is inducted into Enriched Minds, a gifted class. There she finds chaos and comedy, and also a love/hate she didn’t quite bargain for. . .

Crooked Angel- I’m aware I haven’t updated this story in a long time, and for that I’m very apologetic. I may eventually continue it, as I have the plot pretty much sorted out and still hold it dear, but for right now it has been put on the back burner, so to speak. It portrays a not-so-distant future in which, in a fit of jealous rage, a group of rebels preformed a genocide on the angels in heaven, an event that caused much controversy on Earth. But fourteen years later, it seems things begin to stir again as a white-winged maiden suddenly awakens and falls through the roof of a quiet country home. Who can and cannot be trusted, and what does it take to believe?

Rainbow’s Destiny- An upcoming serious magical girl series of mine, revolving around the elements but with a more realistic approach and less flashy transformation. Six girls living on the planet Merrill are forced to bond together and adjust to the crystals awakened within them against an evil that roots itself deep with in the mystery of the universe. A work in progress.

Short Stories/Poems- You’ll see some of these popping up occasionally, whenever I feel inspired. Look for them!

So, that’s me, in a nutshell! If I haven’t chased you away with my long winded-ness, please take a look at my works. =P I’d be very honored!

Shoujo at its utmost. A class full of eccentrically brilliant and undisciplined students, two sets of best friends, an absent-minded and childish teacher, and of course a confusing love/hate romance infused with dramatics. Sounds like a soap opera to me!
