Author has written 29 stories for War, Fantasy, Humor, General, Friendship, Nature, and Fantasy. Well, here goes. First of all, to answer a question I get asked FAR too
often and hopefully prevent it from coming up in the future, no, Jareth
Valentine is NOT my real name. Or rather, it is. Perhaps it would be
more accurate to say that it isn't my LEGAL name. After all, which is
more real? The name one is given, or the name one gives oneself? Hmm?
I'm about six feet tall, with long dark hair and eyes can never make up
their mind what color they wish to be. The avatar I currently animate
is male, though I'm not entirely sure I am...I seem to be a gender
unto myself...I shall call myself a Velvet, because that's what
someone else called it and it's as good a name as any.
Writing is something I'm reasonably good at. Quite possibly the ONLY
thing I'm good at. The only thing I can't seem to do is finish
anything. I'm serious, you should see the contents of my 'In Progress'
folder...there must be two dozen half-finished stories in there. But
anything that shows any signs of having an ending, I'll be sure to post
ASAP. I ask but one thing in return. REVIEW ME, people. I crave
feedback. Let me know there's someone out there reading this, and I'll
have all the more reason to write it. Feed my ego.
I also write fanfiction. At the present I am in the middle of an
exceptionally long, and exceptionally good, Power Rangers story. You

to Druidia is by no means the first original story I've written. It IS,
however, the first one I've written that got further than the first
chapter, and for that it will always have a special place in my
heart.
I have every intention of getting this one published some day, so
what I'm posting here is the rought draft as I write it. Once it's
done, I'll be taking it down and shipping it off to publishers, so
enjoy it while it lasts, people. The final copy WIlLL be edited, WILL
be proofread, and WILL include a few changes. Names might change. Rules
might changes. The gods only know what else might change. Could be
anything. The Sins of Druidia series will (hopefully) include seven books,
one from each of the Sins' point of view. Each one will be a
continuation of the story, picking up where the last left off, but
hopefully, each will be able to stand alone as an individual book. Oh,
and that name might change. Just FYI. A certain someone
drew a very nice illustration for me, and I have every intention of
using it as the cover art for the book, if and when a publisher decides
to make my sad little dreams come true. If you'd like to see it, email
me. Oh...and, on the off chance that it DOES get published, I
just MIGHT refrain from posting the final chapter. Just so you'll all
have to buy the book. Because I can be evil when the mood strikes me,
and strike it may. Update
2/04/07: Yeah...changed my mind. I'm going to keep writing this one
after all, and do the revisions after it's completed. I can change my mind if I want to. It's my story. Don't question my ways. :P |
