Who Am I:
I'm a compulsive reader and writer, who is more of a writer than a reader these days. I also dabble in art, am an avid collector of music, I have a black belt in Taekwondo, and I have a weak spot for ice cream. I've also been called Obsessive Compulsive by my friends, due to my obsession with alphabetising things, and my obsessive way of organising things. I can be overly sarcastic and cynical at times, but am actually quite a nice and loyal person. I'm a brilliant liar, but I'm also brutally honest and I'm not afraid to stand up to people. I can't stand the cold, yet hate too much heat, I think penguins are evil and manipulative, and I wouldn't be caught dead wearing pink. My Apple laptop is my baby, and so is my little Holden car, and I have a nasty habit of thinking out loud. I hate the radio, I think TV is getting worse, and books don't get enough attention. You can tell I'm really mad or scared when I swear, because normally I don't. If you've read through all of that, you may think I'm a bit of a weirdo, and a walking contradiction. Don't worry, I do too.
Current Projects:
As always, second drafts of Trinity are being worked on, but these will not be posted online, and only shared with those I trust. If you wonder why I don't post much up here for a while, it's usually because I'm working on the second drafts, and my progress can be followed by checking out the "Trinity Update" section on this page.
A companion fic to Worlds Apart is being planned for later on in the year. The Tales Of Shiribra covers the stories of various gods from a time way before Worlds is set. My main three gods will make appearances, but so too will others that have only been mentioned in passing. Keep an eye out for it!
Music And Life, a story about music and hunting, is being planned for release after I get everything listed above finished. It is a story about music made real, and about a group of people who hunt these songs for a living. More than that, it's about how the music affects their lives, and how the relationship between them changes over time. Friends and lovers are hurt and betrayed, rivals become trusted confidants, and hidden demons come out into the open. Yeah, I have an obsession with music, and this is dedicated to the tunes that are a big part of my life.
The third story in what has come to be known as the Myaniscarr series, The Siren Of Faysillas, is in the planning phase. The story will focus on Darius, who travels to the Southern Islands kingdom to find out more about his mother and her family. Once on the main island of Faysillas, he hears a tale about young men who have been drowning in a certain part of the ocean, apparently lured out into the water by a mermaid. Perhaps a bit darker than the previous two, I'm thinking that it will tie up the series.

News: The 7th story in the series, Heart Of Ice, has now been renamed Moments Of Change. I've been meaning to change the name for a while, and I've finally found one that better fits the story as it now is. The original name only applied to a small part of the story, where as the new name better covers the whole lot. Hope you like it!
Trinity is becoming a trilogy! It has gotten far too big for just one book, so I will be dividing it into 3 parts, titled Light, Darkness and Balance. There will be three stories per book, and seeing as the Light book has already been finished, I will soon be looking into getting it published! Squee! I just have to hassle enough literary agents until someone agrees to take me on.
I'm entering a short Trinity story into a writing comp! The story had to be between 3000 and 5000 words (I did 5006. Oh well) and had to have a female as the leading character. I came up with a "What If?" type fic with Harmony as the lead, and I'll probably post it up here late 2008, after the comp is over. It's called Alternity, and explores what their lives could have been like if the three of them stayed mortal.
The official title for the books is now Trinity: A Modern Mythos. Thank you Anjirkia for getting me hooked on the word 'Mythos'!
