Suggestions: My favorite writer (and to my amazing luck, my beta-reader) on this site is spikedmango, writer of Bad Blood and its sequel Blood Lust... and its... triquel...Blood Ties. All AWESOME. Modern setting, with vampires living openly among humans, perfectly imperfect characters, and a captivating plot. For slightly different work, still modern-setting but Sci-Fi, I advise you to check out my other friend and writer here, MiddaySatire.
