I'm a twenty-two-year-old senior in college majoring in Journalism and Sociology/Anthropology. Worship me. Oh, and if you're affiliated with a legit newspaper, magazine or television station, give me a job! Please! :)
Read my stories, and if you would like, review them; I can't promise reviews in return, but I will try my best (note that said reviews will probably be full of constructive criticism). Oh, and ego-stroking reviews are always nice, but I absolutely love constructive criticism -- unless it's with numbers, then my head starts spinning. Please keep in mind that I will retaliate against any flames with a much more eloquently worded attack. Trust me on that one.
Don't know where to start? Well, if you like sci-fi or dystopia, you can't go wrong with Cosmic Strife Saga: From the Memoirs or "Eleven" (and its sequel... but I'm not going to tell you what it is, for fear of spoiling it.). Those who prefer more disturbing stories should check out "Eleven" (again), "Faith's Confession" or "Dreamer." If you're one who goes for the whole angst/tragedy genre, look at "The Ocean on a Foggy Day," "In her Eyes" and "I'll Cry for You." Fans of flash fiction should read Quick Hits, "Ring Around the Rosy," "The Sleeping Room" or "In Her Eyes."
Actually, you really can't go wrong with "Eleven" -- it seems to be my most popular story. Remember, these are just suggestions -- I'm a fan of all of my one-shots (and that includes Quick Hits, since it's made up of one-shots). My favorites? "Eleven," "I'll Cry for You," "The Ocean on a Foggy Day," "The Sleeping Room," "In Her Eyes" and "Faith's Confession."
Update 5/17/08:
Added reading suggestions to the profile. Otherwise... yeah. All my writing these days has been dedicated to explaining the subprime meltdown and how it hit Wall Street. Fun!
Please note that The Elite, Cricket, Never Be Forgotten and Cosmic Strife Saga: Flight School are officially on probably-permanent hiatus.
