-William Shakespeare (I don't think I have to explain this one.)
-J.R.R. Tolkien (He created languages at 8yrs old... you can't tell me that's not cool. The world he created is so extensive, it took him his whole life to work on it, and it's still yet unfinished. "Lord of the Rings," and other books about Middle Earth.)
-George Lucas (Star Wars... wonderful invention.)
-Edgar Allen Poe (One of the best writers of all time.)
-Robert Frost (wonderful poet) -Shel Silverstien (R.I.P.)
-Kevin J. Anderson (work with StarWars novels)
-Yoshihiro Togashi (if you know who he is, you know why!)
-Rumiko Takahashi (if you know who SHE is, you know why!)
-Terry Goodkind (new addition. "Sword of Truth" series)
-Eric Lustbader (name's a bit weird, but the books are good. "Sunset Warrior Cycle")
-John Milton (poems, and Paradise Lost)
-John Irving (The World According to Garp)
-Holly Black (Ironside trilogy)
-Neil Gaiman (for anything/everything, including Good Omens)
