About Me

Hi, I'm Rosa.

I've been engaged twice seriously (and recently came close to it again); reside on the West Coast, and I'm rather introverted. Despite my often cynical observations and snarkiness, I'm an incurable optimist who fully believes things will just fall from the sky and go right in the end... aside from politics. I have three piercings, one tattoo, and some self-inflicted bodyart. I'm a natural flirt, an unabashed romantic and a deviant. I frequently meet with complete strangers from the Internet, and all of my relationships since high school have started online, despite being an excellent wingman. I read anything I can get my hands on at the blazing speed of 1,800 words per minute (or 30 words a second, if you prefer); run a few Pandora stations, spend nights studying and DM'ing, and I love a great cup of amaretto chocolate black tea. I'm a Libra, an INFP, and a Fire Rabbit.

Despite my name, I'm male, and heterosexual. What else is there to know? I'm a middle-class minority, Taoist and Christian (a liberal one, fundies scare me) , college student, writer, poet, cook, conscientious objector, and once a year, an irate tax-payer who declined to state a political party. I've been called an existentialist, a romantic, and a transcendentalist; I'm for individual rights and opposed to free markets and bipartisanship (sod bipartisanship, the only thing worse than a Democrat or Republican is both of those greedy nitwits working together); a pro-feminist who's personally opposed to abortion but firmly believes that it should be available as a choice; pro-death penalty, pro-gay rights, anti-imperialist, support legalization of marijuana, and I'll say it loud and proud:
