Author has written 4 stories for Romance, Supernatural, Young Adult, and Mystery. Name: Ashley, my name on here is a complete joke, but if you need a nickname for me you can just call me Obscene. Gender: A classification I neither trust or believe in but yes I am female. Sexuality: A classification I refuse to impugn upon myself with or do so to anyone else unless they tell me to. I believe in freedom sexually and the ability to be with whoever you wish to be. Age: Despite how young you might think I am I'm in my twenties. Location: I hail from the country on top aka Canada, the Ontario region. History: I've been writing stories since I could draw on my walls with crayons, although I suppose then they could be called comics. I originally wrote poetry and have had the pleasure of being published which I hope to do again in the near future. I am also going to start taking a Novel writing course within the next two weeks so I can begin working out what I want my muses to do in what will hopefully be a moderate seller. I have taken law courses in the past and am now continuing on into the arts which hopefully will help me creatively, I also have a penchant for myths and name my characters so that there is a great meaning behind them. My writing: For some reason I find myself writing gen or slash, both of male and female persuasion but perhaps that is because it's what I'm attracted to and always have been. Even in my personal life.I'm a romantic at heart but I'm also known for hurting characters I love the most. I'm back again. I don't know why sometimes because people don't actually read my stuff here and I do thrive on feedback. I'm a creature of habit and I guess I always return to my first love which is original fiction. I don't know why...I used to want to be a writing but now I'm never quite sure... I've also never quite been able to write from what I know so if my stories at times seem jumbled this is why. One day I'll figure it all out I promise, but until then if you don't like it I prefer constructive criticism only. Current Work: Answers in Nothing Updated: November 12th, 2008. Personality Type: I am an INFJ personality for those who believe in that sort of thing. What that means is: "The Protector You live your life with integrity, originality, vision, and creativity. In love, you truly see relationships as an opportunity to connect and grow. At work, you stay motivated and happy... as long as you are working toward a dream you support. How you see yourself: Hardworking, ethical, and helpful When other people don't get you, they see you as: Manipulative, weak, and unstable." You can read more about that here Favourite Quotes: "If you don't annoy somebody with what you write, I think there's little point in writing," -Kingsley Amis "A writer is a person for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people," -Thomas Mann "Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counsellors and the most patient of teachers."-Charles W. Eliot "Men are equal; it is not birth but virtue that makes the difference,"-Voltaire "You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club,"- Jack London "You cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus,"-Mark Twain "Write something to suit yourself and many people will like it; write something to suit everybody and scarcely anyone will care for it."-Jesse Stuart Recs: A Textbook Case by Error-Author. It is an amazingly well written work of fiction about two people who don't know quite what they're doing, even when they think they do. Oh, and it takes place in a mental institution, or rather a mental wing. Please go check it out. Anything else: I do have a belief in reviewing everything I take the time to read. I suggest you learn to do it too! | |||||||||
