(back from hiatus)

on writing and updating: My pen name used to be Elven Sword. I've returned from a mostly year-long hiatus, but will still need some time to write more stories and if possible, haikus. The series of Twisted Bedtime Haikus has not ended. I'm still working on it. It's not really meant to be funny, just twisted. I have deleted many of my earlier poems, due to the fact that it's a waste of space on fp and my initial attempts at writing were really horrible. When I re-read them, I really cringed and felt disgusted at myself. Some beginner/starter poems of mine are still out here; they're not as bad as the... much-earlier ones. One can perhaps see the improvement adn changes in writing style. For one, I've started to find my place in writing haikus and I really enjoy it.

Constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome, through reviews or emails. I would appreciate it a lot, if you would leave a review, especially to my poems, haikus and short stories. Thanks to those who have offered me some; they do help me to improve. Feel free to drop me an email if you wish, perhaps about the review I gave.I usually reciprocate reviews. At least, I try to. I do give constructive criticism if it is within my ability and time to do so.

I do thank all the supporters and reviewers. Thank you very much, guys. It's really fantastic to know there's much support and welcome out there, and constructive criticism. :)

As for myself/my profile:

Able to border on two extremes - to engage in serious discussions related to film, literature and philosophy and to be involved in small beer or trivial random talk. May also be included in madcap and silly acts which induces laughter. Making people laugh is a joy to me. Life is relatively unbearable and miserable, why not some laughter? Some people seriously need a tranquilizer. Yet at the same time, clowning around doesn't equate to being carefree and as happy as a lark. Give me classics and the works of the Decadent and Romantic period anyday - Baudelaire, Swinburne, Wilde, and even Dante and Petrarch!

currently seeking revelations, knowledge and most of all, liberation, whatever it is, or whatever form it appears in. No, not drugs. incredibly passionate and slightly ambidextrous. great passion for speech and drama, film, reading, writing, drawing, greek mythology, history, books, literature, poetry. stickmen comics and drawings and lines of poetry scrawled on my notes. I can't always come up with a tanka or haiku on the spot, but I love it all anyway. books and music, film (good film, I mean), and speech and drama are things that I will never survive without. BOOKSFILMMUSIC - happiness
