Date: September 18, 2008.
- The first chapter of Dim Halo was posted on the 2nd. I've started the next chapter, but it won't be up for awhile. I had planned to be able to update at least once a week, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. It's going to be more whenever I get around to updating. Luckily, though, I've finally decided on where the story is going (I had a few ideas in mind for it), which means I shouldn't really get hit by writer's block any time soon cross fingers
- My latest one shot, Sadie Hawkins Dance, was posted on the 10th. I haven't written a one shot in a long while, but hopefully, I haven't lost my touch ;) It'd be much appreciated if you read and reviewed it!
- An idea for a sequel of sorts for Just One More Day popped into my head a little while ago. When I wrote it, I said I wasn't going to continue with it - and if I end up writing this sequel that would definitely be the end of it - but one can never help the way in which their muse inspires them. I'm still thinking about it, though, so I don't have anything concrete or definite to report :)
- Added a new section to the profile: Works Pending. I have two additional stories in the works - one will be posted soon-ish, the other not for awhile. Because I'll be writing two stories at once, there isn't going to be a regular updating schedule. I'm trying this new thing where I write when I want to write and not when my readers want me to write. In the past, I've found that reader enthusiasm has made me churn out chapters, rather than taking my time with them, which is what I want to do now ;)
I was given something wonderful, something that changed me forever.
A vision of the universe, that tells us, undeniably, how tiny, and insignificant and how rare, and precious we all are.
A vision, that tells us that we belong to something that is greater than ourselves, that we are not, that none of us are alone.

Completed Stories
Better Off Without You - One Shot - Young Adult
Inspired by a real relationship, Better Off With You tells the story - the very brief story - of an unnamed girl finally putting her foot down, finally deciding that enough is enough, and finally breaking up with an unnamed boy with whom she'd had an on-again off-again relationship with.
People have asked me to continue with the story and explain what had happened between the two characters, but I have no intention of doing so. I quite like it as it is, and when I wrote it, my focus wasn't on what had happened, but rather, how they dealt with whatever it was that had happened. I guess my feeling is that you don't need to know what happened to be able to relate to her or understand why she did what she did.
Just One More Day - One Shot - Young Adult
Inspired by a Red Eye fanfic written by a friend, Just One More Day is a glimpse into a woman's complicated affair with a man, and her inability to end the relationship simply because she can't get enough of him.
Again, people have asked me to continue with the story, but I'm not going to (although, one of these days, I'll write a proper one shot, complete with an actual ending ;)). Like Better Off Without You, my feeling is that, sometimes, you don't need to know the how and what to be able to understand a one shot like this. That's my feeling anyway.
Sadie Hawkins Dance - One Shot - Romance
Nicole Stone has been friends with Sullivan Black for three years now, and she's finally worked up the courage to ask him to the up-coming Sadie Hawkins Dance. However, her plan to ask him after school one day, backfires, and she's left feeling completely embarrassed. Will she be able to work up the nerve to ask him again?
A high school-centric, full-of-fluff one shot (that has an actual ending!) that popped into my head.
Works in Progress
Dim Halo - Chapter One - Romance
Mia Andrews is twenty-five-years-old, and single. Her last relationship ended badly after three years, so she's decided that men aren't worth the effort anymore. Her family, however, think that the only problem she has is that she picks the wrong kinds of men. So, they've decided to choose them for her.
Story idea suggested by someone who left me a review for one of my One Shots.
Works Pending
Letters to X - Multi-Chapter story - Young Adult
Kennedy Wilson has been writing to a person known only as X, for six years. One day, X writes back. The problem? X doesn't actually exist.
I've had the idea for this story in my head for awhile now, and I thought it was about time I put pen to paper (or, fingers to keyboard, as the case may be), so expect the Prologue to be up soon-ish.
Twelve Months, Twelve Memories - Multi-Chapter story - Young Adult
Due to certain circumstances, best friends, Eden Roberts and Ryan Cooper, have twelve months left together. This is how they spend them.
Don't expect this to be posted any time soon. I'm still working out the kinks (such as the title, characters, and how to go about writing it. Ha!) because I want to get it just right. I guess you could say it's my pet project; my baby.
