Name: If I get to know and respect you as a writing peer, you'll know it. If not... Oh well, it's no skin off of your back not to know it, eh? Age: 18 Gender: Female Education: High school senior Occupation: Waitress (not for too much longer!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!) Favorite Anime Character: Kino Makoto of Sailormoon. Of the stories that I have written, many of which have been deleted, 95% revolved around her. Of the remaining two, one does and the other has her as a very central/supporting character. Least Favorite Anime: DRAG-on (get it??) Ball anything... Though I tend to admire Vegeta just because he has personality... Admiration and enjoyment are two different things. Method for Writing: Some people have told me that I use a lot of detail in a story (sometimes to a fault x.x- but sometimes not!) When I want a greater level of detail than a story with dialogue, there are two things I keep in mind: (1) A picture is worth a thousand words, or vice versa. (2) This goes hand in hand with #1, but you have to approach the story as someone who has never read it. When you see your story in your head, people do not see it as you see it. You have to write it so that they can see it, which is what I try to do, even though sometimes I have to limit myself to keep people from getting bored. (You people need to buck up! I am here to give you better fanfiction!!!) Wow!: One of the main surprises I have received in reading fanfiction is realizing that as I get older (and yes, I have spent over two years of my life perusing this site) that more writers come in, and to my utter amazement, some of them are actually not that bad. The real surprise is to see that they are younger than me. It amazes me (and irks me to some extent, I admit) to see writers younger than myself have such amazing talent. One that I am referring to right now is LadyOracle who has written Petals' Fury. Just wow. Okay, that's it for now. =================================================== My stand on the deal with Tsukino Usagi in the crossover section... Well, I tend not to read her. There are a few amazingly well written Usagi crossover stories (ie Hidden Bloodlines, Code Name: Bunny,) but for the most part they just suck. The authors have forgotten who Usagi is. I get the feeling they are trying to mold her into someone she's not, like oh, hum, themselves? Instead of creating OC Mary-Sues they have turned Usagi into one... I'm not saying it doesn't happen to the rest of the Sailormoon characters. It happens to all of the senshi and I tend to drift away from those stories as well, but with this abyssmal spiral that "authors" have chosen to take, what's going to happen to this genre? =================================================== 1.18.03 - I hope to have a new chapter of The Tie that Binds out sometime soon. It will probably be awful and not up to my standards, but sometimes we have to cross bumpy roads to continue in our journey. I would also like to pick up AE at some point, if only to see it to its end. 1.26.03 - Happy Belated birthday to me. Now if I get into a fight with someone I can go to jail O_O Oh and AE9 is out. Yes. It's out. It's a bit short for me, but whatever. It's out. 1.29.03 - TTTB4. Le gaspe! O_O!!! (*making more faces that look like this "O_O") Updated TTTB... When it rains it pours.
