I am a fan of critique and welcome it with open arms, and hope that I haven't disouraged you by throwing out, what may be, unwanted pointers or suggestions. About: I am a half irish-half norwegian fashion student who enjoys writing occassionally in her spare time. I am a little trapped in a cycle of repeating the same words or themes in different pieces, of which I am trying to break free, but not having too much success. My fiction has mainly been influenced by Haruki Murakami's cool detatched prose, and unfortunately I think my tone often comes of soundly something like a tribute act. My poetry is mainly a manipulation of images, colours and sound and attempt to capture them in a series of words. In this sense I want my poetry to be experienced rather than read. | |||||||
