My name is Jessica Dorothy White. I am in my twenties and enjoy a great number of activities.

I’ve been writing fiction, poetry, and fan-fiction for more than eleven years. Although I do not have copies of all my work, they all occupy a space in my mind--much like a mental library.

As for what I write about, my subjects vary drastically from one medium to another.

Nevertheless, I tend to write most in the genres of drama, romance, supernatural, and I dabble in fantasy from time to time. I tend to avoid horror and westerns exclusively. I would like to write more historical fiction, but I admit that I don’t quite have the patience or the attention span for it.

My fan-fiction depends strictly on what fandom catches my interest at the time and it usually changes every two years or so. Over time I have written at least one fictional work for all the following fandoms: Gundam Wing/AC, Harry Potter, Labyrinth, Lord of the Rings, Rurouni Kenshin, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Wars, Teen Titans, and Yu-Yu Hakusho.

My Favorite Music:

I like a great many different bands and styles of music...that being said, I do lean more towards rock-oriented styles. I'm an extremely large fan of Alternative music, both Classic Alternative and more modern bands. I like a lot of music and band from the late 80's and the first half of the 90's. I like some popular music, but all of it had its' haydey back five years ago or more.

I like Metal as well, but not the really heavy screamo bands. I actually want to know what their singing about, you see...and I like melody and harmony to be a part of the songs. There are exceptions of course.

To give you a better idea of what I'm talking about, here is a brief and incomplete list of bands I own CD's of:

10 Years, Blind Melon, The Offspring, Hurt, A Perfect Circle, Joan Osborne, Sarah McLachlin, Jewel, Marilyn Manson, System of a Down, Flyleaf, Chevelle, Halestorm, K.T. Tunstall, Michelle Branch, The White Stripes, Alanis Morissette, Morningwood, Nirvana, Avril Lavigne, Type O Negative, Theory of a Deadman, David Bowie, R.E.M, Sheryl Crow, Earshot, Lacuna Coil, etc...

Now that you have an idea of what my music tastes are, I'm sure you can go about your life now. (LOL)

"If Man were immortal, he could be perfectly sure of seeing the day when everything in which he had trusted should betray his trust, and in short, of coming eventually to hopeless misery. The shadows that I feared so long
Are all alive with light."
~Alice Clary
