| An-Author-At-Heart |
Author has written 59 stories for General, Life, General, Thriller, Mythology, Religion, Humor, Action, Fantasy, Biography, Song, Nature, Love, Fantasy, Supernatural, Haiku, Essay, Young Adult, Fable, Romance, Horror, Kids, School, and Family. As the name says, I'm an author at heart. I love writing stories. I'm not too fond of writing assignments with 100-200 words and things like that: I like to have no boundaries. I wanted to have a place where I could put up my school work and works of art and get feed-back from readers. I love reading about the locations of authors (not their exact locations - I'm not a stalker!!). The fact that www.fictionpress.com is used around the world is cool for me. For example, if I read on someone's bio that they're from Germany, I'll be thinking, "They're from Germany? That's SO cool!" I also love seeing fellow Canadians up on the site (I'm very patriotic). And yes, I'm from Canada! It's been a while since I've written anything... I've been focusing on my studies for a while (Bachelor of Science with Major in Biochemistry... I know eh? Quite the opposite) so I haven't written anything and I DO need to get back to it. In the past I also did fanfiction, so feel free to go on that site and read some of my stuff and review (and when I say review, I don't mean you're free to flame). My username there is Princess-Perfect (what was I thinking?).I usually write my stories/poems/songs in English, but I do know French and occasionally I put French stories on the website. I encourage anyone to mention the grammatical mistakes I make in their review, and be specific! Please do not use vulgar language or be completely rude (for example: You suck, this story sucks!). If you do not like a story, please tell me why and write it in an appropriate and respectful manner. As well, if you do decide to write a review please actually state your opinion and not just write anything that makes me look through it and think,"Okay, so what did they think about my entry?" It's happened a couple of times either on this site or fanfiction.net, so please, don't do that. Male/Female: I'm female, if you haven't picked it up yet. I find it rather funny if someone refers to me as a guy in a review... Age: 568, 999 years old... How about NO! I'm not giving away my age, geez... Location: Canada, as you already know. I'm not getting any more specific than that, I really do not want any stalkers. Especially because it's hard to see over the moose and ten-foot snowbanks, and my cabin in the forest only has lumberjacks for home security. Favourite books and authors: J.K. Rowling and L.M. Montgomery are ol' time faves but these days I prefer Tolstoy and anything old. I like Dostoevsky (Crime and Punishment), Wuthering Heights, The Picture of Dorian Gray, etc. Anna Karenina and Death of Ivan Ilyich are FANTASTIC! Favourite movies: The Lord of the Rings movies (especially The Return of the King), all the Harry Potter movies, A Little Princess, Forrest Gump, Romeo + Juliet, Mean Girls Well that's all I can think of to write about myself... Enjoy reading my poems and stories, I'm particularly fond of An Assassination of a Student President. And PLEASE review!! | |||||||
