Bio: My real name is Nick. I'm 18 years old, born in 1990. I currently reside in Connecticut. Writing is really just a side project for me right now, though I do hope to get published in the future. I write when I can. My biggest problem is that I'm overly critical of my writing. I see something I wrote and pick it apart until I hate it, and then I end up re-writing it 6, 7, 8 times. My biggest project is the "Excalibur" trilogy, which starts with Silver Moon, continues in Blood Will Tell, and finishes in the Untitled third book. I've been asked why I don't just combine the 3 into one book several times. The answer is, I've had it planned as a 3 part series from the start. Each book represents a different stage in Adam's life. And so, he's a very different person in each book.

Anyway, I take a lot of inspiration from other books, movies, sometimes music. But my biggest influence has been Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear series. He crafted this amazing story and put it into the best video game series I have ever played. The man is my idol. And a lot of gratitude goes out to him.

News:

12/17/08: Lots of editing and revising going on right now... I've gone through every notebook in my bedroom and pulled out everything from every draft of Silver Moon I've ever written. Some parts date back to 2002. Pretty much anything pre-2006 is complete garbage, however there are some really old ideas and plot elements that I like and could possibly be reworked into the final draft. It really is amazing to look at how much it's evolved over the years... and how terrible my writing was back then.

Anyway, I wound up with several hundred pages of writing from over the years and I just started going through them last night, so there's still a lot to do.

9/6/08: Renamed the vast majority of characters in Silver Moon to make them a little more Americanized. After having a few people read through what I have written, a lot of them had trouble pronouncing the names of several characters and the last names in general seemed to sound more Japanese than anything, and none of the characters are Japanese, so it didn't make much sense to keep the surnames the way they were.

I also took down Silver moon and re-posted it. I had a lot of changes to make, and since I made a new start on the book, a figured a re-publishing was in order. So, everything is being re-published.

Current Works:

Silver Moon: Part 1 of a trilogy of novels I've been writing for the better part of 6 years. Started work on it when I was around 12 years old, though at the time the book walled Temple of the Blade and actually followed a completely different plot. However, through the years, the book evolved more and more to the point where the story I started with can't even be found in the book at all. But, despite the plot being different, the characters are fundamentally the same ones that have been in the story all along, albeit under different names now. The original plot was just too far fetched to even be construed as believable, and thus, I have no plans of even revisiting that plot line. I hope to have the book finished sometime in 2009, but things change easily... I originally planned to finish it back in 2006, and that never came anywhere near happening. So, we'll see what happens.

Blood Will Tell: Part 2 of the trilogy. I've worked out basic plot elements and decided what I want to happen and what should wait until the next book. But other than having a couple chapters written, I haven't really put too much thought into this piece.

Interview With A Made Man: Another book I started work on recently. As can be figured out from reading the title, the book is about the mafia and follows the tale of a member of said mafia as he rises through the ranks over the years until he becomes made. I'd like to write more than one book in this series, but as of right now, my focus is more on Silver Moon than anything else. This is more of a side project that I work on when I'm not making any progress on Silver Moon.
