A NOTE ABOUT THIS PROFILE:
Yes, I write, and yes, I love writing, and yes, I write often. I will post some stories on here, mainly experimental ones--whether it's experimenting with a different style, with a different genre, or whatever else. :) In that same vein, all stories that are posted here will be rough drafts--first drafts, second drafts, twentieth drafts, what have you. But not the final draft.
However, I do have a partially members-only writing journal on LiveJournal in which final drafts may appear--but they will, of course, be members-only.

MUCH ASAID ABOUT WORDS
is a one-chapter, completed story that I wrote in response to a member challenge from the SKOW Awards Yahoo! Group. Alex is a confident young man who really has no problems doing anything, but talking to Brooke, the one he loves, seems to be a different story. Then again, love is not always easy, is it?
Favorite Authors
One author whose stories I can't get enough of is Alfsigesey. Seriously, I wish she wrote a billion of them and published them all; I'd buy them all if I could. All her stories have such original, interesting plots, and it's so easy to fall in love with her characters. I don't think there's a story of hers I would not recommend. The Trinket is one of her older stories, but it's still heartwarming and worth reading. Castle Mirrors is brilliant in so many ways, and reading it gives you a huge satisfaction. Andwyrden is beautifully and subtly written, and I find myself in love with the story and its characters. Really, all of her stories are so brilliant. I just love the ideas, the characters, and everything, period. She mentions that spelling and grammar isn't her strong suit, but there's no need to worry because of that; it's more than readable. :)
If you're ever in a really bad mood or you get tired of too much drama, I'd really recommend Sally Can Wait's stories. She has a lightheartedness to her stories that make them really refreshing to read, but, at the same time, they're not exactly devoid of substance, either. My favorite story of hers is Cinderella Never Saw This One Coming--it's so trademark of her style, and it's so sweet but meaningful at the same time. I do love all her stories, though!
A hilarious author who can really make you laugh but who also writes really well is pixy-dizzy. I think you can just read her summaries and pick one that suits you, but my personal favorites are To Become a Suitable Heroine and Elves on the Job.

For some reason, I never get tired of When You Own the Universe by Secretive. To me, it's such a meaningful story--and it almost feels like a story of redemption. It mainly revolves around Jonah Millls and twins Remembrance Olivia and Remington Oliver Pierce. Jonah is a typical spoiled rich kid, Remington is a kind guy who wants to be a psychiatrist, and Remembrance is somewhat temperamental. When Jonah buys Remembrance for a week, she discovers more than she'd expected; and all the characters end up going through struggles and trying to make things right.
The Fairest of the Land is a really funny and original fantasy story by Respect is Sexy; a rewrite of her previous story, The Omnipotence Draught. If you look at her profile, it describes the story much better than I can. Suffice it to say, however, that this is not just another fantasy story, and it's both really funny and really interesting to read.
A really simple, classical, but beautiful story is Petals, written by Danielle Night. It's set in nineteenth-century England, where women should never really make the first move--but Adrian Morey, who receives flowers one day, is fascinated. It's a really nice story, and I love the cleanness and originality of it.
